It’s amazing how quickly Zimbabweans become accountants when an artist gets paid. Mukanya wasn’t bought. He was booked. If you think US$1 million is too much, your issue isn’t with him it’s with the value the market placed on his legacy.
You don’t have to like the sponsor, but don’t confuse payment for a performance with a handout.
Know the difference between value and charity.
🔹 As a young man, Mukanya used his music as a revolutionary weapon to motivate people during the liberation struggle. Thomas Mapfumo, affectionately known as “The Lion of Zimbabwe,” pioneered Chimurenga music during the 1970s to directly confront oppression and fuel the fight for freedom. Yet today, a generation of cowards who stood by idly and watched oppressive CAB3 pass right under their noses, have the audacity to lecture this icon on how to manage his musical legacy? MISWAI!! Nyarai!! VaMapfumo played his part; instead of being angry at the old man, introspect, reflect, and adjust!!
Playing a low block against Argentina was suicidal. You can’t give Lionel Messi that much space to operate as a playmaker.
The moment you allow him to receive the ball, turn, and pick his passes, you are already in trouble. Against Messi, defending deep is not enough you have to deny him time and space.
Egypt invited pressure and paid the price. Congratulations Argentina
People who never quoted Prophet Eubert Angel when lives were transformed suddenly become experts because of a football result. Selective outrage is a strange hobby. Miswai nemi
It is encouraging that political leaders are now calling this out for what it is and saying plainly that Jacob Zuma is inciting violence. But it must also be said that Zuma is not merely inciting hostility against undocumented immigrants.
He is inciting hostility against Africans who are living in South Africa legally, who are properly documented, and who are conducting their lives within the law.
It is shameful that a former president would exploit such dangerous sentiments simply to win votes and settle political scores with the ANC and President Cyril Ramaphosa.
He knows that many citizens may not fully appreciate the consequences of this kind of rhetoric, and he is cynically taking advantage of that.
It is also worth remembering that it was Jacob Zuma who issued hundreds of thousands of permits to foreign nationals. It is therefore absurd to portray him as an anti-immigration crusader. This is not about principle; it is about political opportunism.
Throughout his political career, Zuma has repeatedly demonstrated a willingness to ride whatever wave he believes will deliver short-term political gain, regardless of the long-term damage to society.
Today, that means exploiting fear, resentment, and division for electoral advantage. Sadly, many people will fall for this cynical strategy without recognising that they are being manipulated.
Zimbabwe needs a constitutional transition in 2028, not political engineering through #CAB3. I support leadership renewal and believe VP Chiwenga should be given the opportunity to lead through the proper constitutional and party processes. #NoToCAB3#2028Means2028
Hezekiah’s story reminds us that time, purpose, and leadership are not accidents.
Sometimes what’s dismissed as “just a reference” carries deeper meaning for those who are paying attention. 🇿🇼

Can someone balance me here, 550 bags is almost a 30 tonne tri axle load (Gonyeti). The lady on the video is still appealing for more cement to build more toilets. How can 550 bags build only one block of toilets.
Maybe I missed something. @killerzivhu1 help me understand.
I don't support any political party but I support Zimbabwe. If Mnangagwa's government comes with policies that benefit Zimbabweans I will rally behind him without bootlicking him.
It's high time Zimbabwe support policies instead of supporting Mashefu.
