In a digital world where narratives travel faster than ever, the question is no longer whether Africa is being represented online.

It’s who gets to shape that representation.

Last week at the Hub Unconference, Vafa left us with a question that feels bigger than the stage it was asked on: what does it mean to take control of the African narrative?

It takes listening. It takes truth. It takes curiosity. It takes the courage to sit with the messy, complicated, beautiful realities of our lives and say: this is our story, and we will tell it ourselves.

Is AI ready for Africa?

Because maybe the question isn’t whether Africa can adapt to AI but whether AI is being built with Africa, its realities and its needs in mind.

Now that is a conversation! 🔥
