Acquiring a prayer language is as arduous as learning a foreign language. Expanding our vocabulary of praise is as difficult as conjugating verbs in another language. #drawthecircle#dayforty#ElSalvador ❤️🇸🇻
With each answered prayer, we draw bigger prayer circles. With each act of faithfulness, it increases our faith. With each promise kept, it increases our persistence quotient. #drawthecircle#daythirtyeight
We tend to view the goal as the goal, but in God’s economy, the process is the goal. It’s not about what we’re doing at all; it’s abt who we’re becoming in the process. It’s not abt doing great things for God; it’s abt God doing great things in us. #drawthecircle#daythirtyseven
Oswald Chambers once wrote, “It is inbred in us that we have to do exceptional things for God; but we have not. We have to be exceptional in the ordinary things.” And if we do the ordinary, God will add an extra to it. #drawthecircle#daythirtyfive
Prayer is the pen that writes history. Don’t worry about making headlines; focus on the footnotes. And if you focus on the footnotes, God will write the headlines. #drawthecircle#daythirtythree
If we don’t share our testimonies of how God is working in our lives, then others are tempted to think He isn’t working at all. Most of us are educated way beyond the level of our obedience. #drawthecircle#daythirtytwo
God gets tired of old songs. He doesn’t want you to worship Him w/ just your memory; He wants you to worship Him w/ your imagination as well. Love isn’t repetitive; love is creative. As love grows, you need new lyrics & new melodies. #drawthecircle#daytwentynine
“Prosperity knits a man to the world. He feels that he is finding his place in it, while really it is finding its place in him.”
#CSLewis – The Screwtape Letters
Quit praying about the program and fill out an application. Quit praying for the friend you hurt and make a phone call. Don’t just complain to God about your coworker; circle them in prayer. Don’t just pray for missionaries; write a check. #drawthecircle#daytwentyeight
The problem isn’t desire; the problem is power and, more specifically, willpower. That’s where fasting comes into play. The reason fasting gives us more power to pray is because it’s an exercise in willpower. Physical discipline gives us the spiritual discipline to pray through.
Like Paul, who saw gifts in Timothy that Timothy couldn’t see in himself, we, through prayer, are enabled to see w/ prophetic eyes. We are given supernatural insight. Then we are prepared to speak w/ prophetic boldness into the lives God has positioned in our path. #daytwentyfive
The first thing to do is open your Bible. When you open your Bible, God opens His mouth. The surest way to get a word from the Lord is by getting into God’s Word. God will speak to you. Then God will speak through you. #drawthecircle#daytwentyfour
Prayer will sanctify our waiting, so we wait w/ holy expectancy. waiting doesn’t delay God’s plans & purposes. It expedites them. Waiting is the fast track to whatever it is that God wants to do in our lives. On God’s timeline, a day is like a 1K yrs, & a 1K yrs are like a day.
Oswald Chambers once wrote, “Let God be as original45 with other people as He is with you.” Don’t seek answers; seek God. And the answers will seek you. When God gives a vision, He always makes provision. #drawthecircle#daytwentytwo
