June 10, 1990 brought the last of three consecutive Rex Foundation benefits at the beloved Cal Expo Amphitheatre in Sacramento ☀️ In honor of their road manager Rex Jackson, the Dead held shows to raise funds for creative endeavors in the arts, sciences, and education. Selling about 12,000 tickets that night, the Dead uplifted their community not only through fundraising, but through love and music.
