@Pasthetique This is Art Nouveau, showing sinuous curves of Nature. Art Deco typically has sharp angular shapes. 1928 is late for Art Nouveau, but possibly the design pre-dated the manufacture.

Please look up Michael Jones work on childhood Mutism. It can be very complicated - might be present in certain formal conditions, but the child can talk informally with safe friends. Individual autistic people have their own unique combination of neuro-divergence.

@RhonddaBryant If you could count them with numbers, then use ‘fewer’. If you could not put an actual number on it then use ‘less’ ( fewer cars, less traffic) (fewer Reform politicians, less racism) imo.

@mrscmway I can remember diverting the waste water from the washing machine through a hose to water some of the garden. The drought was as bad then, possibly, but the prolonged high temp this year is far worse.

@thelaymanstake And - they say ‘pissed’ when they mean ‘pissed off’ or cheesed off/cross/frustrated. Being ‘pissed’ obviously describes being drunk/inebriated/tipsy etc.

@ukwomenriseup @GardenerFliss Definitely have some ivy in shady areas. We have lots of Holly Blues in our garden - not many holly plants but lots of Ivy that they use in winter. We have Brimstones now too, after planting Buckthorn bushes. Worth looking up what plants the various caterpillars need.
