@postjawline Thanks for this! As a Catholic living in Japan, I notice the overlapping of values every day. However, I’m not sure I see an issue with butsudan so long as it’s Christian-ized. Non-Buddhist versions are sold at Catholic shops here, and they seem similar enough to ofrendas

@ConradBastable great points, and agreed. also pretty ironic that even though the Switch is designed for adults, the Pokemon games for it are the most dumbed-down, handholding ones they’ve made with mostly bad designs. (the only one I managed to enjoy was Legends Arceus)
