At 30 years I've already turned into that Maxine chick from the Hallmark cards.

[banana @magic_catalyst]

@shesbonky @eldritchharpy A lot of men are perfectly content to marry someone who will make them comfortable but whom they don't give a crap about

[Landlords In Their own words @landlord_expose]

“Sorry about your cancer but you should have packed up your chemotherapy shit and gotten the fuck out..”

[Poe's Law, Esq: Poe's Lawyer @dyingscribe]

If you're 6 ft tall, making six figures and you have a socially impressive job like a lawyer, and you still can't get women, it's not the women.

[teenage sex and death at cab cutie @ManuclearBomb]

I'm sorry, but where is the Democrat countermessaging on transphobia? Like, beyond "love is love" lawn signs? The right-wing has an onslaught of anti-trans bills working through states, have armed men showing up libraries and drag shows, and get on every media outlet daily.

[Deena Jones @Keyonce_Dash]

If possible PLEASE buy your Girl Scout cookies from a brown baby girl. As a former troop leader, the disproportion amount of sales is HUGE! I know it’s tempting to buy from those selling outside of the grocery store, but it’s hard for US to even get those spots.

[Priya Krishna @priyakrishna]

it seems to me that "the bear" and "the menu" actually did far more to spread public awareness of the unsustainable exploitation of restaurant workers than most any labor story that has come out in the past few years

[XR Cambridge @xr_cambridge]

The world's elites at Davos are using air filter units and pathogen killing UV lights in every room and requiring (instant result) PCR tests for everyone, while we bake their bread breathing unsafe air. We have to understand that covid has become another facet in the class war.

[Alec Karakatsanis @equalityAlec]

I wrote about how two Harvard professors accused me of trying to "censor" them when I showed their proposal to add 500,000 cops to arrest 7.8 million more people was riddled with dishonest errors. Then it got weirder. Students sent me the final exam question from Prof. Lewis.

[molly @mollyomalleyx]

you ever think about how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got a $30 million podcast deal from Spotify and they haven’t put out a single episode and it’s been over a year and we get an eighth of a penny per stream

[ally @missmayn]

my theory is suburbanites fucking love Disney World because it’s their chance to to enjoy walkable dining and entertainment experiences with convenient mass transit without having to see homeless people.

[Peter Kalmus @ClimateHuman]

It is the scientific consensus that hundreds of millions if not billions of people will be forced to migrate due to climate change within the next few decades. A lot of those people will end up dying. The geopolitics of a billion climate migrants. Let that fucking sink in.

[#LONGLIVEKHAMEYEA @KHAENOTBAE]

Round 2008-2010 when the economy crashed it was a huge spike in DV cases where the fathers murdered the entire family. There been three families gone in three days to familicide and it’s only going to get worse.

[Peter Dynes @PGDynes]

A very high percentage of the population truly believes the grocery stores will just keep filling up with fresh food for the foreseeable. Most are sleepwalking into a food crisis tunnel without any light at the end.

[Gillian Branstetter @GBBranstetter]

You're being asked to believe trans people are simultaneously sickly frail eunuchs and perverted superathletes--or, to paraphrase Umberto Eco on fascism, "by a continuous shifting of rhetorical focus, the enemies are at the same time too strong and too weak.”

[The Ghost of Aaron Bushnell @BennArrington]

My pregnant wife and I are seriously considering getting divorced so she'll qualify for Medicaid to pay for the birth and I can afford insurance for myself. I'm not even fucking joking.

[The Last Psychiatrist @thelastpsych]

I skipped TheTrumanShow, as it was sold to me as a 1990s example of the individual longing to be Protagonist in his own movie. I watched it now. What I saw was a 2000s evil society collectively exploiting an individual's soul, not for salvation or profit, but because it was on.

[MarxistRealism @MarxistRealism]

The thing you need to realize about any mainstream US media personality who criticizes Fidel is that not one of these people would have a problem with him if he'd lived out his life abusing slaves on his father's plantation. They hate him because he *ended* this process
