Fingersmith by Sarah Waters was an excellent Victorian con story with a sapphic romance! The less you know the better but if the synopsis intrigues you, definitely give it a chance! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Girls Made of Snow and Glass was such a delightful expansion on Snow White, adding so much depth to women and their relationships in the story. I loved this book so much I feel I could write an essay on it! Feminist fairy tale retellings are the best 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Jane, Unlimited by Kristin Cashore is one of the strangest books I've ever read. A five-genre choose-your-own-adventure story, it feels bizarre and experimental but its unique charm and bold ideas had me engaged even when I baffled ⭐⭐⭐
A Thousand Pieces of You was a fun, fluffy, romantic adventure across alternate dimensions 💫 Not exactly hard sci-fi, though, more romance than physics! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't wait to read the other two books in the trilogy!
Reign the Earth by AC Gaughen might be my favorite read so far this year! It had everything I loved in a high fantasy novel and I'm desperate for news of the next book! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
HULLMETAL GIRLS by @skrutskie is a story about angry girls, a futuristic caste system, body modification, what it means to be human, and finding your way back to yourself with friends by your side. If you're a fan of #sff, READ THIS BOOK. #hullmetalgirls#emilyskrutskie
