Since Flock loves to track our locations, it only seems fair that we know theirs.
Flock Safety's new GA plant is located at 1885 Mitchell Rd, Smyrna, GA 30082
Flock went to great lengths to keep that address hidden.
That probably means it should be public info.
@L1G0R3@GlockOclockk@cyvszn@Shove@TheGoblinnn Those are a beast, and yeah you are right that brake job would cost more than a Hondas but an E class is the second most luxurious sedan (just under S class) but if you got a C class the work is comparable, assuming you don’t go to a dealership for servicing.
@L1G0R3@GlockOclockk@cyvszn@Shove@TheGoblinnn To be fair I never included the price of tire on my maintenance estimate, I was just referring to the mechanical side of it like spark plugs, oil, brakes, etc. Also the dealer is a straight scam, they estimated $450 for just an oil change which is why I don’t go to them lol
@L1G0R3@GlockOclockk@cyvszn@Shove@TheGoblinnn I’m simply telling you what I’ve actually paid, while actually owning the car. You are trying to tell me what I’ve paid on my car with nothing more than AI generated prices. I’m simply telling you, they are not nearly as expensive to maintain as you seem to think they are.
@L1G0R3@GlockOclockk@cyvszn@Shove@TheGoblinnn But to say they simply aren’t reliable is a lie. I bought my used 2013 Mercedes in 2021 and since 2021 I’ve put 70k miles on it (including shit like off roading, redlining, revving for pops and bangs etc) and literally nothing has broken or needed repair.
@L1G0R3@GlockOclockk@cyvszn@Shove@TheGoblinnn BMW and Mercedes are vastly different in terms of reliability. I love German cars but I would never buy a BMW so Id actually agree with your mechanic. They deadass only need to be serviced once, sometimes twice, a year. They are expensive when they break, which Ive already said
@L1G0R3@GlockOclockk@cyvszn@Shove@TheGoblinnn Who tf goes to a dealership for preventative maintenance? Those numbers your showing you might find only at a dealership 💀 took my car to a independent euro motor shop and got my brake pads replaced and an oil change for $435 and that’s all I’ve done and all I’ll do this year
@mizthoggy @feofanly@stallinek0@milkyy_tweets And yet here you are bitching about $38 a year being spent on cookies and not the thousands that you pay to blow up kids overseas.
@L1G0R3@GlockOclockk@cyvszn@Shove@TheGoblinnn Also FYI, that is including the costs of “repairs” yearly. I haven’t had to do any repairs for the 5 years I’ve owned it. I will admit parts for repairs are pretty high but things don’t generally break on Benz’s if you keep up on preventative maintenance.
@L1G0R3@GlockOclockk@cyvszn@Shove@TheGoblinnn I do the recommended maintenance per my car and Mercedes. About once, maybe twice, a year my car will activate a message on my dash for a certain servicing and I take it in for that service.
@johnroyal23@hypocrates98@hedgebrush@etonewowo You might be the stupid one, they are very clearly pointing out that if the 100’s of tax dollars is such a concern for you, you very well could get those same benefits while also highlighting how you have a much better situation than them regardless of them getting free junk food
@srtmigue1@TheGoblinnn I frankly don’t buy a car entirely dependent on how well it maintains its value. I buy a car that feels nice to drive, that’s it. Have never driven my Mercedes nor did I buy it to “make myself feel rich”, I just wanted comfortable seats, good audio, and a nice sounding engine.
@L1G0R3@GlockOclockk@cyvszn@Shove@TheGoblinnn I literally own a Mercedes and it’s deadass been the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. Had it for 5 years and it’s never had an issue of any kind. Bought used at 93K miles, currently at 160K miles. I’ve spend less than $500 a year maintaining the car.
