@lauriewired It is better to not game then have every single thing you do in a virtual environment monitored and recorded for the training of algorithms and data sets. Emulate or log off for the last time.
@lauriewired Computer technology is military against us to begin with. Death and terrorism are preferable to every frame of everything you do being monitored. I think death and terrorism will be the default soon.
I feel A24 strayed from a focus on indie releases to focusing on branding to the point where the "A24 film" feel overrides a sense of authorship a director may have. When you look at early films such as SPRING BREAKERS and compare it to more recent releases, there is a clear shift to this controlled aesthetic.
There are some great A24 films for sure but the brand gets in the way of the art and overrides it to an unhealthy degree. They have massive financing and a very large install base, which indie films do not generally benefit from. I'm not saying that people should not be successful btw, just that success and growth have led to a separate, corporate-arthouse synergy now labeled as "indie" but not truly independent.
BACKROOMS is a good example of this imo.
Awesome, I hope during that busy schedule he has time to find some lost checks and residuals for some families. I know things can get quite hectic in the office, but maybe we can check a few drawers or you know just ask the few people left standing if they are homeless or working for Amazon and in need of care.
It is not a PC that can take any OS. It is a computer running a downstream toy OS that is e-waste in the making, and comes with randomized RAM offerings on top of a poor man's Arch.
You can stop now. What is out of line is your boot licking for mediocrity because you have no standards for what you use or interact with.
Awesome, I hope they cover the part where my friend and mentor was living in borderline poverty because they couldn't be bothered to pay proper royalties to the people who made adult swim successful. And the reason the person died could have been avoided with said money for insurance.
Coming up on 10 years since Clay died. Clay specifically, he traded blood. You have no idea. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
Imagine having to let Mr. Swim know your friend died and they had no clue.
I don't have to imagine that by the way.
@Sir_Rainbows@MikeMumbelz@TenDesiderantes@Pirat_Nation If would already be available if they didn't use a proprietary frakenstein blend from AMD. Simply use any other distro.
Please stop dick riding the corporation, it's embarrassing.
You don't know what you are talking about. Nvidia CUDA ecosystem has been used in Ubuntu enterprise deployments and CentOS/Rocky Linux editing for over a decade. Stop @ me since you don't keep up. Nvidia has had distributed open source drivers since 2022 for mainstream cards.
Go back to your video games.
Yes, the rest have open source drivers from Nvidia. SteamOS does not.
They could be using the same drivers found in Arch repos, but do not. This is due to their proprietary hardware stack - which is not good.
Downstream vs upstream. Upstream contribution is why other distros are a better choice, and ultimately means another reason to avoid the hardware they have chosen.
