The Zambian government has been absolutely irresponsible in dealing with the Chinese mine pollution, a catastrophic failure of leadership.

The Chinese have behaved badly across Africa, ripping out mineral resources in a manner that makes colonial exploitation look like child’s play.
Communities are left with poisoned rivers, devastated farmlands, and ruined livelihoods, while corrupt officials look the other way. Many will live with these consequences for decades to come!
