हमें अपने दृष्टिकोण से जज करने की आदत है। भाई, न तो वो हिन्दू है, न भारतीय फिर आप उससे यह आशा क्यों कर रहे हैं कि वो आपकी तरह व्यवहार करे। अमेरिकी लोग झंडे की चड्डी पहनते हैं, तो क्या वो अपमान हो गया?

कोई भारतीय ऐसा करता तो बनता था बोलना। वो विदेशी ईसाई है, वो माइंड नहीं करते। वो चाहें तो बाथ टब में कप ले कर बैठ जाएँगे, बीयर से नहला देंगे।

अपने संस्कार आप विदेशियों पर क्यों थोप रहे हैं? हर व्यक्ति अपने समय, स्थान, परिस्थिति और सामाजिक मान्यताओं के अनुकूल चलता है न कि जैसा हम चाहते हैं।

बस हो, ट्रेन हो या हो मेट्रो,
सफ़र करते वक्त महिलाओं में एक बड़ी कॉमन चीज़ देखने को मिलती है।

अगर कोई पुरुष सीट पर बैठा होता है तो वो उम्मीद करती हैं कि उन्हें देखते ही सीट से उठ जाए। आमतौर पर पुरुष उठ जाते हैं और महिलाओं को बैठने की जगह भी देते हैं।

लेकिन अगर वो सीट पर बैठी हैं और कोई पुरुष आता है जिसे बैठने की ज़्यादा ज़रूरत है या कोई बहुत सामान लेकर खड़ा है या दिव्यांग हैं….. तो वो अपनी सीट से नहीं उठती।

सभी महिलाएं ऐसा नहीं करतीं। पर ज्यादातर यही करती हैं। तो बस उनसे यही कहना है कि दोस्त हम बराबरी की बातें करते हैं। तो हर जगह होना चाहिए। ऐसा नहीं होता कि हम जब चाहें तब पुरुषों पर निर्भर हो जाएं और बाकी वक्त बराबरी की बात करें।
