@kushal_mehra If your claims are true then why isn't the EC publishing the evidence and speaking out to media - have a press conference, etc. can't keep giving this govt the benefit of doubt & defend them saying that just their communication is bad
@themojostory Wow, do @narendramodi@AmitShah@PMOIndia realize that they've already lost. CJP won even before the protests started because they forced the govt 2 take such drastic steps. It shows who is more powerful. BJP is losing the narrative
@RapidResponse47 WTF didn't Trump sanction India, China for buying Russian oil!! Now suddenly it's ok because he's trying to save his own ass in the upcoming midterm elections.
@svembu@raghuspeaking@maniangopi Chinese nationals migrated back because 25 years ago the government gave huge incentives under Thousand Talents Plan. Indian Govt & IT companies did nothing. Startup India is too late. Govt corruption, red tape, stifles life out of small businesses. https://t.co/FL8mN03FMW
@JDVance Have you read the H-1B wage regulations? H-1B workers aren't cheap labor. Employers must meet prevailing wage requirements. If Indian workers are supposedly low-skilled and cheap, why are they among America's top earners? Pick a narrative. You can't have it both ways.
@theupindex So BJP is the new Congress! For 60 years, Congress named projects after the Gandhi family, drawing constant criticism from the opposition. BJP should've walked the talk by honoring unsung local and national leaders instead, giving them the recognition they deserve. @narendramodi
@svembu India's IT boom began in the 1990s. Why are we still facing growing pains? Starting a business remains painfully bureaucratic. Tech moves fast. Founders need to focus on building and launching products, not navigating red tape. This is exactly why talent leaves for the US.
@Humble_Analysis The biggest misconception is that H-1B workers are cheap labor. They're NOT. At Silicon Valley tech companies like Microsoft and Adobe, they're paid comparably to US workers, as required by law. Pay practices at consulting firms like TCS or Wipro may differ.
@turiyatman It’s unfair to compare India with developed Western nations. In densely populated countries like India and China, competition for jobs and resources is intense. Parents push education early to give their kids an edge. Pursuing personal interests is often a luxury of the wealthy.
@viraj_sheth@therakeshsheth It’s true. Happened to me at Delhi airport in June. Signs on the way to immigration told us to fill one form, but at the counter they asked for a new one. Everyone scrambled back to find paper forms. Total chaos. Some things haven’t changed even after 75 years!
I am begging the Army, with tears in my eyes, to please switch out the ‘sustenance’ nomenclature for ‘sustainment’.
People are going to think you mean catering, when the actual appointment is rather more serious.
Do you idiot incels not understand how exports work? That’s what your Governor is going to promote. India has bought nearly $100 million of peas, lentils, and chickpeas from Montana farmers in the past 2 years. That’s money in the pocket of Montana farmers. Seriously, how can you be so dumb?
@anwaar_kakar 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Good one! Pakistan a civilizational state is an oxymoron! You got the history wrong and also the meaning of civilizational state wrong!
It was a minor philosophical disagreement about how to fly the plane. NYT now confirms that it has been satisfactorily resolved after some passengers mediated between them.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.
Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.
He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.
I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.
He is a true hero.
This man is a hero.
Captain Smit Machchhar, the Indian captain of flydubai Flight 1073, fought back after being stabbed in the cockpit.
Despite being severely injured, he managed to unlock the cockpit door - allowing Israeli passengers and the Emirati crew to intervene and save all the passengers.
Together, their extraordinary courage saved 174 lives.
Indian. Israeli. Emirati.
Different nationalities. One extraordinary act of courage. 🇮🇳🇮🇱🇦🇪
We wish Captain Machchhar a full and speedy recovery.
