My wife and I aren’t usually fond of movies, but after reading the reviews for _Bonolota Express_, a Bangla cinema film, we decided to watch it.

I must say it was a completely different experience — a must-watch and, in my opinion, how a movie should be made.

It told an amazing life lesson, unfolding on the big screen page by page, as if you were reading a book. No special effects, no nudity, no unnecessary off-topic scenes or typical song breaks.

So many life lessons, and quality time together — it made for one of the best evenings we’ve had.

Thank you to Bangla cinema for such an incredible experience.

This is the most distressing and baseless allegation I've faced in my political career as a council candidate in St Katharine's and Wapping. It's particularly concerning that it comes from someone claiming to support a Labour candidate. Another leafleting and door-knocking session in St Katharine's & Wapping.
Residents welcomed the Mayor and Aspire party's policy extending free swimming to men over 35 and reinstating the facility for parents of any age swimming with their children – a service previously cut by Labour. This initiative has clearly resonated with local residents, contributing to growing support for Aspire.

This is a tragic loss for Bangladesh, and it's appalling that a courageous protester, youth leader Sharif Osman Hadi was brutally shot in the head. His untimely death demands accountability, and it's imperative that those responsible are brought to justice.
May Allah forgive him and accept his sacrifice for the fight he led for justice. May he be granted the highest rank in Jannah.
