We think working too much leads to burnout. This is scientifically incorrect. If it was true, Einstein, Jobs, @elonmusk et al would’ve burned out a long time ago.
Burnout doesn’t come from working a lot.
Burn out comes from working a lot wherein the work has no meaningfulness.

I joined a new dev team last month. @freeplayapp Today we will merge in 20k lines of code that improve load times by over 10x. An average of 40ms. Some as fast as 12ms. Secret sauce was @GraphQL and some MySQL magic. I’m proud to be part of this rockstar team!
