Honestly, as a CA, I’m struggling to understand the reason for this rigid stand on the Tax Audit due date.

An extension won’t reduce tax collection.
It won’t hurt businesses.
It won’t weaken compliance.

So what exactly is the harm in giving professionals some breathing space?

Extension is not a concession. It is a practical solution to ensure quality compliance.
