The scholar Ibn Ḥazm wrote:
“When protective jealousy rises (ghayrah), know that love has risen with it.”
Not every jealousy is toxic or “being controlling”
By the same token, if your man is happy to parade you around like a trophy, that probably isn’t love.
Keep your tongue safe from speaking about others.
You’ll have fewer regrets not only in the hereafter, but in this life as well.
And if others speak about you to humiliate you, know that Allah will honor you not only in the hereafter, but before long, in this life as well.
Self Development is not becoming the best version of yourself according to your desires.
Self Development is becoming the servant Allah created you to be.
The struggle is not between people who care about Palestine and people who care about injustice at home.
The struggle is between those who recognize human dignity wherever it is violated, and those who make exceptions for the people they fear or profit from.
Gaza, Sudan, ICE dungeons. Mass incarceration, etc. are ALL related to each other.
The three men who were martyred in the San Diego Mosque terror attack have been named; Mansour Kaziha, Amin Abdullah & Nader Awad.
May Allah have mercy on them.
The Martyrs of the San Diego Mosque Terror Attack
Three Muslims killed in the terror attack at the Islamic Center of San Diego have been identified.
CAIR officials stated the following about the victims of Monday’s shooting:
“Amin Abdullah was the security guard who risked his own life to alert the school and other individuals inside regarding the active shooter. He is the definition of a hero who bravely made the ultimate sacrifice to save others over himself.
Mansour Kaziha, lovingly known as Abu Ezz, was a community leader who managed the mosque store for nearly 40 years and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Nader Awad turned away community members from the bullets and saved lives.
These three protected children inside the center and school and there is no doubt that the casualties would have been much worse without their heroism.”
Brother Amin Abdullah was the guard at the mosque in San Diego for years. He was instrumental in stopping the shooters from reaching the children today. This was his final post on FB. On these holiest days, may Allah have mercy on him and accept him as a martyr. Ameen
"Assad’s cousin called himself God. Now he's in a cage and on trial."
This was how The Sunday Times reportedly headlined the story some time ago. And today, new images of Assad's cousin, Atef Najib, have emerged showing him listening to the charges brought against him — among them, the torture of children to death in some of the most brutal and savage ways imaginable — with his head bowed in humiliation and disgrace.
So what, then, of the Day of Judgment and its Fire, concerning which the Lord of Majesty says:
“And you will see them exposed before it, humbled from disgrace, looking with furtive glances. And those who believed will say, ‘Indeed, the true losers are the ones who lost themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection.’ Unquestionably, the wrongdoers will be in lasting punishment.” Qur’an translated meaning 42:45
A lasting punishment — not a life sentence of 20 years, nor 50, nor 100… but an eternal punishment without end.
One wonders: will the rest of the tyrants who continue to oppress and act arrogantly in Muslim lands and elsewhere take heed? Will they learn from the fate of Atef Najib?
Never. Rather, “upon their hearts are locks.” And they do not know what fate has in store for them.

This is not just a number but a lifetime taken away from a mother, a daughter, and her children. The pain remains, and so does the hope that one day justice will finally be served. Please raise your voice and stand for justice.
