One official email from OnePlus clearly states: "COM PORT DOES NOT SHOW MOTHERBOARD DEFECT". But now, their escalation team is refusing to repair my screen, citing a "Null IMEI" (a software bug caused by THEIR update) as a barrier!

1. THE CHRONOLOGY OF FAILURE
MAY 2025: THE FIRST "GHOST" FAILURE
Following an official OxygenOS update 16, my device's IMEI became "Null" and network connectivity vanished.
• The Diagnosis: Varanasi Service Center claimed a "Motherboard Failure" and demanded ~₹24,000.
• The Reality: I refused the paid repair. Days later, the network returned automatically.
• Technical Conclusion: Physical hardware does not "self-heal." This was an EFS/NV Partition corruption caused by the OTA update—a pure software bug misdiagnosed as hardware failure.
DECEMBER 2025: RECURRENCE & DOCUMENTATION
Another update, another network failure. This time, I recorded comprehensive video proof of the device failing during the update process. OnePlus initiated a pickup, but the network returned before shipment. I informed OnePlus of the recurring bug.
MARCH 2026: THE VERTICAL LINE & SERVICE CENTER HOSTILITY
A vertical green/pink line appeared on my display—a known manufacturing defect.
• Submission: Submitted to Darbhanga Service Center (INFOTEL SERVICES).
• Repair Order (RO): IPS001016109-AS2603140002.
• The Trap: The center is now denying the Free of Cost (FOC) Screen Replacement. Why? They are again citing the "Network Issue" as a motherboard failure to void the screen warranty.
2. THE TECHNICAL REBUTTAL: SOFTWARE BUG VS. HARDWARE FAILURE
OnePlus Senior Management (Case ID: INIP-CMT-2026032000064) claims there is no correlation between updates and motherboard failure. I have submitted 10 PAGES OF EVIDENCE from the official OnePlus Community proving them wrong [cite: 57-66].

• This is a deceptive trade practice. Offering a discount on a repair for a fault caused by YOUR own software is not "goodwill"; it is an attempt to monetize a defect.
• I have rejected this offer. I demand a 100% FOC Screen Replacement as per the Lifetime Warranty policy.

OnePlus, you cannot ignore your own community's data. You cannot misdiagnose software bugs as hardware failures to extort money from engineers who know better.
