One way is looking up its "ultimate beneficial owner" — not the next highest corporate layer, but the person at the top of the chain — in an official registry.

But in many countries, access to these registries has been severely restricted. Here's my story on why, and what the prospects are for better transparency in the future.

در تحقیق اخیر OCCRP درباره شبکه پولشویی بابک زنجانی، خبرنگارها با تطبیق چند عکس فهمیدند که پشت صرافی‌های ظاهراً بریتانیایی چه کسانی هستند.
سرنخ اصلی چه بود؟
یک گربه. 🐈
الگوی صورت گربه، قلاده، و حتی پایه‌های صندلی در دو عکس مختلف یکی بود.
همین جزئیات ساده کمک کرد یک هویت جعلی و یک شبکه مالی پنهان لو برود.
این یعنی قدرت OSINT:
