Don’t Follow the Crowd
Many pioneers have a problem today: they don’t think for themselves.
They believe whatever other people say, especially when it is something they want to hear.
Why do many people end up in an unfortunate situation?
Because they do not have the ability to think independently.
They don’t want to think. They don’t want to analyze. They want other people to tell them what to believe.
In the end, they can easily become someone else’s target—sometimes someone sells them out, and they are still helping that person count the money.
So, don’t always blame other people.
Many times, we create the problem ourselves.
And there is another big problem:
Don’t be greedy.
One of the biggest problems among pioneers today is greed.
They don’t want to do anything, but they want to get the results.
But that is a contradiction.
If you don’t want to do anything, you cannot expect results.
You don’t study, you don’t build, you don’t take action, but you expect the results to come to you. That is impossible.
When problems arise, some people start blaming the project.
But what is the point of blaming the project?
The project will not stop because you blame it. It will not change simply because you threaten or criticize it.
That is not realistic.
So, don’t waste your time doing useless things.
Be a smart person. Be a wise person.
Know where the real problem is.
Have the courage to face the problem instead of running away from it.
Avoiding problems, deceiving yourself, and pretending that problems do not exist will never solve anything.
So:
🪷 Don’t follow the crowd.
🪷 Learn to think for yourself.
🪷 Don’t be greedy. Understand that results require effort.
🪷 Face problems and solve them instead of escaping from them.
Develop independent thinking.
Become a truly wise person.

🪷 GCV COMMUNITY EDUCATION #129
What Is Really Holding Pi Back?
Why has Pi taken so long to reach the results that many pioneers have been waiting for?
There are two extreme and incorrect ways of thinking about Pi.
Some people believe:
“Pi can never succeed.”
Others believe:
“I don't have to do anything. I just tap on my phone, wait, and I will automatically become financially free.”
Both mindsets are going in the wrong direction.
One of Pi's important characteristics is accessibility and inclusiveness. Ordinary people can participate through a mobile phone without needing expensive equipment or a large amount of capital.
So why do we still need so much education and community building?
The obstacles are not technology.
In many cases, what is holding Pi back is the pioneers' own mindset and behavior.
Some pioneers do not want to learn.
Some do not take the time to understand Pi's vision and ecosystem.
Some are too focused on immediate results.
And some are driven by greed and the desire to make quick money.
This creates an environment where scammers and irresponsible influencers can take advantage of people's desires.
They tell people:
“You can make money immediately.”
“You will become rich very soon.”
“You don't need to do anything. Just wait.”
When people become attracted to these promises, an unhealthy cycle can develop:
Satisfy people's desires → create unrealistic expectations → build trust → eventually exploit that trust.
This is exactly why education is so important.
Our purpose in GCV Education is not to ask pioneers to blindly believe anyone.
It is to help pioneers develop the ability to learn, think independently, recognize misinformation, and make responsible decisions.
And learning does not have to cost money.
You can learn.
You can understand Pi's vision.
You can study the ecosystem.
You can think independently.
And you can participate in building the ecosystem through your own actions.
If more pioneers can reduce greed and impatience, stop chasing overnight wealth, and instead focus on learning, unity, trust, and long-term ecosystem development, the community can become much stronger.
Pi's success is not something that happens automatically because we simply tap a button.
But neither should we assume that it is impossible.
A sustainable ecosystem requires technology, utility, applications, community participation, trust, and long-term commitment from pioneers around the world.
The technology may be accessible.
But changing people's mindset is much harder than asking someone to tap a button.
So sometimes, what slows down our progress is not Pi itself.
It is our own:
Lack of education.
Wrong expectations.
Greed.
Laziness.
Impatience.
And blind trust in misinformation.
🪷 Education changes mindset.
Mindset changes behavior.
Behavior builds the ecosystem.
A strong ecosystem creates the foundation for the future.
Do not wait for someone else to feed you the answers.
Learn for yourself.
Think for yourself.
Judge for yourself.
Build for yourself.
That is the responsibility of every pioneer.

💎 GCV: The Bigger Picture Is Finally Coming Into Focus
For a long time, our community has been searching for one important answer:
What does GCV really mean, and what role can it play in achieving our long-term goals?
As the Pi ecosystem continues to develop, the answer is gradually becoming clearer.
The recent announcement of cooperation between the Pi Core Team, Open Standard, and the OUSD stablecoin ecosystem may look like the addition of another payment and settlement tool.
But if we look deeper, it may represent something much bigger:
A bridge connecting the Pi Web3 value internet with the global commercial economy.
And whether this bridge can truly create value will depend greatly on the co-building and co-governance of the global GCV community.
🪷 1. Connecting the Ecosystem With the Outside World
Pi Web3 needs to connect with real global commerce.
Stable settlement mechanisms such as OUSD, together with global payment networks, can potentially provide more convenient external settlement channels and help address merchant concerns around volatility, cross-border payments, and settlement.
The ecosystem needs value consensus internally and payment infrastructure externally.
Together, they can help connect Web3 with real-world businesses.
🌍 2. From GCV Consensus to Real Economic Activity
Infrastructure is only a tool.
The real test is:
Real products.
Real services.
Real merchants.
Real transactions.
As more merchants, developers, and users participate, GCV can potentially move beyond being a community concept and become a practical reference within real economic activity.
🤝 3. Why GCV Community Co-Building Matters
The project team can build technology, infrastructure, and global partnerships.
But no central team can personally reach every country, city, community, and local merchant.
This is where the global GCV community becomes important.
Pioneers can:
• Educate new participants
• Communicate the GCV framework
• Connect with local merchants
• Support real-world utility
• Promote orderly ecosystem participation
The project connects globally.
The community builds locally.
🪷 4. Why Community Co-Governance Matters
As the ecosystem grows, consistent understanding and responsible participation become increasingly important.
Community co-governance means working together to educate participants, support real utility, maintain a consistent understanding of the GCV framework, and encourage orderly commercial activity.
The introduction of new payment and settlement tools does not make community consensus less important.
It makes community coordination even more important.
---
💎 The Bigger Picture
The project team provides technology and infrastructure.
The community provides consensus, participation, local connections, and real-world implementation.
Without infrastructure, the ecosystem has fewer channels to connect with the outside world.
Without community participation and real-world implementation, infrastructure alone cannot become a thriving commercial ecosystem.
This is why we need to understand GCV from a broader perspective.
GCV is not simply a number or a concept.
It is connected to:
Consensus + Community + Commerce + Utility + Real Economic Activity
🪷 Technology is the infrastructure.
🌍 Utility is the application.
🤝 Community is the foundation.
💎 Real economic activity is the ultimate test.
For a long time, everyone has been searching for the answer.
Now, more and more clues are emerging.
Please read carefully.
Study carefully.
Think carefully.
Analyze carefully.
Do not simply wait for someone else to give you the answer.
When you connect GCV, Pi Web3, payment infrastructure, global merchants, developers, users, and real economic activity, the bigger picture begins to come into focus.
💎 The Bigger Picture Is Finally Coming.
🪷 Doris Yin
Founder & Chairperson, Global GCV Movement
This content was organized based on a Q&A and analysis generated by Doubao.
🪷 GCV: From Community Consensus to Global Recognition
The recent development of Open Standard and OUSD gives the Pi community an important opportunity to understand how digital value is increasingly connecting with global payment, financial, and commercial infrastructure.
🌍 What Is Open Standard & OUSD?
Open Standard is the company behind Open USD (OUSD), with the mission of building internet-native money that enables businesses to move money in a faster, more global, programmable, and efficient way.
OUSD is designed for banking, cross-border payments, settlement, institutional trading, and global commerce.
Its founding partners include Coinbase, Mastercard, Shopify, Stripe, and Visa, with more than $1 billion in near-term launch liquidity committed by the founding partners. Open Standard also says more than 200 financial institutions, fintechs, banks, and global businesses have joined its network.
Open Standard's partner ecosystem includes major names such as BlackRock, BNY, Google, UBS, SBI Holdings, Mastercard, Visa, Stripe, Shopify, Coinbase, Solana, Base, Tempo, and Pi Network.
OUSD is a USD-backed stablecoin, issued by Bridge, a Stripe company. Its reserves are held with BlackRock, Lead Bank, and BNY, with monthly reserve attestations planned.
OUSD supports 1:1 USD minting and redemption, and its infrastructure provides tools for settlement, payment orchestration, FX, wallets, cards, trading, and other financial services. It is native on Base, Ethereum, Solana, and Tempo.
Stripe has also integrated OUSD across products including Treasury, Issuing, Global Payouts, Crypto Onramp, and Payments.
In simple terms, OUSD is not simply another digital token. It is designed as infrastructure connecting digital dollars with payments, commerce, banking, and global financial services.
🪷 OUSD Is Not GCV
We should clearly understand:
OUSD is not GCV, and OUSD does not replace GCV.
They serve different functions.
GCV represents a community value consensus within the Pi ecosystem.
OUSD represents financial and payment infrastructure that can connect digital value with broader networks.
🌎 How Can GCV Develop?
Many pioneers ask:
“When will GCV be officially announced?”
“Will the project ever announce GCV?”
Instead of waiting for an announcement, we should understand that community consensus can develop through actual participation and use.
The development path can be:
Community Consensus → Real Use → Real Transactions → Ecosystem Growth → External Connectivity → Broader Recognition
The more pioneers understand GCV, support real utility, participate in legitimate transactions, and build businesses around the ecosystem, the stronger the internal economic network can become.
As the ecosystem grows, it may create more opportunities for external businesses and financial infrastructure to connect with it.
Therefore, broader recognition should come not simply from waiting for someone to announce it, but from real adoption, real economic activity, and real-world connectivity.
🤝 What Can Pioneers Do?
1. Understand GCV and explain it accurately.
2. Avoid confusion and do not spread unverified information.
3. Promote utility through legitimate real-world use.
4. Build merchant networks within your community.
5. Support real transactions instead of only discussing value.
6. Educate and share accurate information.
7. Connect with legitimate global ecosystems and infrastructure.
8. Lead by example instead of waiting.
🪷 The GCV Development Cycle
Understand → Unite → Educate → Use → Build → Expand → Connect
GCV is not simply something we wait to hear about.
It is a community consensus that becomes stronger through understanding, participation, real use, and ecosystem development.
Unite. Build. Use. Connect with the World.

💵 Pi Network x OUSD: Why Do Merchants Need Stablecoin Settlement?
Amid the Protocol 28 upgrades, the partnership between the Pi Core Team and Open Standard (OUSD) could play an important role in building practical digital commerce around Pi. Key points:
Reducing Merchant Volatility: Local shops and businesses may be hesitant to accept assets with significant price fluctuations. A dollar-pegged stablecoin such as OUSD could potentially provide merchants with more stable settlement value.
Expanding Payment Reach: An infrastructure connecting 200+ payment partners with 60M+ users could help create the foundation for broader real-world digital payments.
From Token to Transactions: The long-term success of blockchain is not only about holding tokens—it is also about creating practical, secure, and useful payment rails for everyday transactions.
What do you think?
If stablecoin settlement were available, would local businesses in your city feel more comfortable accepting Pi-based payments?

🚨 $Pi could turn stablecoin activity into rewards for Pioneers? 👀🥧
This is where the #PiNetwork × #openstandard partnership gets REALLY interesting.
Most stablecoins are straightforward: users hold USDC or USDT, reserves generate yield, and the issuer keeps most of it.
But @openstandard’s OUSD takes a different approach. 👀
💰 Reserve yield can be shared with ecosystem partners based on how much #OUSD is used and how much activity their network generates.
And now $Pi is one of those partners. ⛓️
Think about the potential:
💳 Pioneers use OUSD for #Pi payments and settlement
📈 More activity generates more network-level value
🎁 Part of that value could potentially flow back as Pioneer rewards
Pi’s massive distribution could make this model particularly interesting if OUSD gains meaningful usage across the ecosystem.
And here’s the part worth watching closely:
If future rewards are distributed in $PI, that could create an additional utility-driven demand mechanism for the token. 🔥
This isn’t just about another #Stablecoin.
It could be about connecting payments → stablecoins → on-chain activity → ecosystem revenue → #Pioneer rewards. ⛓️🌐
Could this be one of the pieces that helps transform Pi into a serious global payment ecosystem? 👀🥧
Let that sink in.
