I’ve gotten this reminder in many forms this week - that we are the ones who create the garden of the mind… we can plant flowers, or we can let the weeds grow…It’s up to us.
Have a beautiful day! 🌸✨

The government must commit - immediately - to concrete changes to end systemic racism in the RCMP:

- Review use of force

- Review of $10 million/day RCMP budget

- Fund a healthcare response instead of a police response

[Maiko Munroe @maikomunroe]

@bahiawatson it will still be relevant for some time... when you’re able to deliver will be the time it’s meant to be received.

[Maiko Munroe @maikomunroe]

today i seek peace.

[Maiko Munroe @maikomunroe]

what’s going on?

[Maiko Munroe @maikomunroe]

true... no one is looking for lawlessness, but there are alternatives that don’t have to be so aggressive. we have to demand more of ourselves as a society and evolve!

[bahia watson 🍑 @bahiawatson]

abolish the police sounds intense at first but once you start to read up on it, it’s actually saying we as people are capable of a much more compassionate and nuanced society where we invest health over punishment, and there are strategies outlined to effectively manifest it.
