Po latach bezsensownej, kolonialnej wojny Władimir Putin niczego nie osiągnął. Kończą mu się zasoby, brakuje mu rekrutów. Od ponad 12 lat próbuje podbić Donbas, a od ponad 4 - Kijów.
Wystarczy.
📍 Nowy Jork, @UN Rada Bezpieczeństwa nt. Ukrainy.
🇱🇹🇺🇦 Lithuanian President Nausėda on Ukraine:
In the last 55 months, Russia has suffered one and a half million military casualties. In the last year, it has gained 0.3% of Ukraine's territory at the cost of over 400,000 soldiers killed and wounded.
Yet all these enormous efforts, all that blood and tears basically came to nothing.
Ukraine is still standing proudly as an independent state. The Ukrainian language, culture, and national identity are alive and thriving.
BIG | 🇳🇴🇷🇺‼️‼️ NATO forces reportedly disrupted covert Russian undersea activity near Norway’s Svalbard archipelago, where Russian vessels were suspected of practicing methods that could be used to damage critical subsea communications infrastructure.
According to the reports, vessels associated with Russia’s Main Directorate of Deep-Sea Research were operating near the two fiber-optic cables connecting Svalbard with mainland Norway. The islands host SvalSat, one of the world’s largest polar satellite ground stations, with more than 160 antennas supporting satellite operations. The Russian vessels reportedly left the surrounding waters after their activity was detected.
The episode highlights why undersea infrastructure has become one of NATO’s most sensitive security concerns. Fiber-optic cables, energy links and satellite ground infrastructure form critical parts of Europe’s communications network, while Russia possesses specialized vessels capable of operating around them. Activity near Svalbard therefore adds another layer of pressure in an Arctic region that is becoming increasingly important to the wider Russia-NATO confrontation.
