Two years ago today, @PhoKingQui opened the take-out-only @MaiLeeSTL for my birthday: just Ed and me at a lone table, cared for by a COVID-safe staff during those hard early days.
I will never forget their graciousness.
So it’s only right that I return for my 65th birthday lunch.
