Reading through the comments, looks like I made a good decision years ago when the eye doc had suggested Lasik to me. I was very terrified at the thought of doing any kind of surgery to the eye, so I avoided the discussion and continued with glasses.

Those who don't have the slightest of idea why mid day meal program was started in govt schools and why egg was introduced later are giving gyan on nutrition. Probably, for them, mid day meal program is just like a langar meal given as Seva/daan. Sad reality of today.
