Imagine the media meltdown if a Republican took money from known KKK associates or Proud Boys figures. The outrage would be nonstop.

Yet El-Sayed’s campaign and supporting PAC have quietly accepted donations from the former foreign-affairs spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood’s official party in Egypt, an activist sentenced to life in prison in Egypt for supporting the Brotherhood, and a former board member of the Islamic Association for Palestine—a group co-founded by a top Hamas leader that a U.S. court found funneled money and propaganda to Hamas.

He also took more than $115,000 from over 40 current and former CAIR officials. CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial that convicted people of sending millions to Hamas. His father-in-law, a major donor, has held leadership roles in both CAIR and the Islamic Society of North America, another group named in that same Hamas-financing case.

This is not a smear. It is public FEC data and court records. El-Sayed condemns Hamas’s war crimes in one breath while banking their ideological allies’ money in the next. If “guilt by association” applies to conservatives, it applies here.
