For everyone’s benefit, If bees (or wasps) are swarming or attacking you, here's what you should do:
1. Stay as calm as possible: Panicking can make the situation worse.
2. Quickly walk or run away from the area. Bees are territorial and usually won't chase you far.
3. Cover Your Face, especially your eyes, nose, and mouth.
4. Don't Swat: swatting at bees can provoke them further.
5. Seek Shelter: Get inside a building, car, or any enclosed space.
6. Do Not Jump into Water: Bees will often wait above the water's surface for you to emerge.
7. Once Safe, Check for Stingers: If stung, gently scrape the stinger out with a credit card or your fingernail. Do not pinch or pull it out, as this may release more venom.
8. Monitor for Allergic Reactions, seek medical attention if required
If you know you are allergic to bee stings, always carry an epinephrine auto-injector (like an EpiPen) and use it as directed
