A long journey to visit, photograph, and write about every town in the state of Maine. Now in print: the Maine Features Magazine. By Elizabeth, 9th gen Mainer.
Slowly building a large personal library of Maine books. My collection includes nearly every genre (except most modern fiction). Here are this week's additions. All thrifted. Total spent: $17. That's how we roll around here.
Good Monday morning, Maine! It certainly doesn't look like this in our neck of the woods right now, but it won't be long.

Itβs not only the first day of spring, but also my cancer-free anniversary! I'm grateful for the gift of unexpected time which has allowed me to meet so many of you as I continue on this journey to every town in the state of Maine. Thank you for being here.
This launch issue includes photos & features from Belfast, Blue Hill, Friendship, Harpswell, Jonesport, Lincoln, Millinocket, Newport, Phillips, Vassalboro, & Winthrop. Also the Acadian Village in Van Buren, the Page Farm & Home Museum in Orono, Two Lights State Park in Cape Elizabeth, some forts, and more.
Planning to publish a dozen new towns quarterly. All original work. Full of good Maine content.
I went away. Hid in a quiet Maine place. Created the 1st issue of the Maine Features Magazine. Sent it off to the printer. Itβs here. They did a beautiful job. And now Iβm back.
This journey to every Maine town continues. I love it more than ever.
