@DevinToups I never said the wasn’t right. We should not pass judgment on any mans life. But you said an atheist can go to heaven...if that atheist accepts Christ on his death bed and goes to heaven then he was no longer an atheist when he died was he?

@DevinToups Also John 14:6 says- Jesus answered, “I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God’s son and accept him into their life cannot go to heaven.

@DevinToups Bits and Leaves? Devin you may not realize but when you post things about the Bible and Christianity it is detrimental that you are very clear as to your means and intent. And when those “bits and leaves” are inaccurate, incomplete, or just wrong...that is a really big deal.

@DevinToups But It was to be taken literally..under the old covenant. But the old covenant was completed and finished with the death and burial of Jesus Christ. The new covenant was enacted with the resurrection of Jesus and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

@DevinToups This is because God sent his only son to die for OUR sins because the wages of sin is death! If we do not believe that Christ died for us and we do not accept him as our savior then WE must pay the price of our sins. So how could someone who doesn’t believe go to heaven?
