Nigeria talks about football reform, but what about the academies developing the players?
Conservative estimate:
100 grassroots academies × ₦2m × 37 = ₦7.4bn
50 bigger academies × ₦6m × 37 = ₦11.1bn
Total: ₦18.5 BILLION invested every year.
✅ FIFA Connect/player registration ✅ Coach education ✅ Safeguarding ✅ Youth competitions ✅ Training compensation & solidarity ✅ Transparent access to development support ✅ Representation in football policy
Academies are not just producing players.
If we are serious about reforming Nigerian football, we cannot reform the federation, the leagues, the State FAs and the development pathway while leaving the player-representation and football-agent ecosystem

@ShehuDikko Nigerian football today is much bigger than the traditional constituencies of Former players,
State FAs ,Coaches and Referees.
Licensed agents, academy operators, professional clubs, investors, sports-business operators, data/scouting professionals should also get a seat .

We should be able to measure football development in every state.
How many properly registered players are there?
How many active clubs and academies?
How many youth competitions are organised every year?
How many girls are playing organised football? #NFF#NationalSportsComm
How do we currently determine whether a State FA has performed well?
Perhaps Nigerian football needs an annual State Football Development Scorecard, with every State FA assessed against transparent development inWeNeed #StateFAReform#GrassrootsFootball#NFF#NationalSportsComm
United have watched Baleba for a long time, so they know what he can offer. Two good seasons and one bad one doesn’t make him a bad player. He’s always wanted to play for United, and he’ll fight for the badge. That mentality matters.

Raudat al-Jannah is the blessed area located inside the Masjid an-Nabawi in Medina, between the noble house of the Prophet (PBUH), where his grave is and his minbar. It is one of the most sacred and beloved places in Islam. The Prophet (PBUH) described its virtue in a hadith “What is between my house and my pulpit is a garden from the gardens of Paradise.”
Raudat al-Jannah is a place where hearts soften, tears flow and sincere supplications are made, as believers send salutations upon the Prophet (SAW) and seek Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.
Visiting and praying in Raudat al-Jannah is not obligatory, but it is a deeply cherished Sunnah experience that holds profound spiritual significance for every Muslim fortunate to visit Madinah.
May Allah grant us all the opportunity to pray in this blessed garden of Jannah again. Ameen!
