@marythiccmasTV@Miss_AshG i mean… if olivia felt like this was such an unfair thing she would’ve gone through the courts already to amend this credit situation… don’t you think?
@oliverodrigoat@speakfilms@PapaPoseidon doubt she would do that though since there’s a track record of her admitting inspiration to cruel summer and the melodic structure of the whole song being the bridge of cruel summer played in three different tempos
@oliverodrigoat@speakfilms@PapaPoseidon if Loona wanted to try and get Taylor to court they are free to try that. Problem is that they would have to prove that Taylor knew them at the time of making the song.
Olivia can go through the court and have the credits removed if she feels like they were given under duress-
yeah… that’s the nature of a job or transportation… a plane is not gonna wait for its passengers, neither is any means of public transportation… jobs and public services have schedules and your friends do too… although slightly more flexible
Oh, you have ADHD? Sorry that's not an excuse. You showed up 5 minutes late today and that's Not Acceptable.
Oh, you worked hard to be only 5 minutes late and not 50? I won't acknowledge that effort, you're still Wrong.
You are now fired. Your punishment is: no food or shelter.
@Brien_Jackson Also, actual time blindness manifests itself in a lot of cases with people being extremely early to stuff, not just as a justification to being shitty at organizing yourself
being occasionally late is one thing, can happen, often the person tells you in advance if they’re gonna be late. if it’s a consistent behavior it’s either intentional or you are just inefficient. also, a lot of people with actual time blindness are often early to stuff
sorry you’ll never convince me that the “lateness is a moral failing” isn’t rooted in colonization and capitalism, it’s CONTROL!!! and I get we live in a society blah blah blah but if it’s ur friends you know is always late tell them an earlier time or whatever but acting like it’s a moral failing is so puritanical and silly sometimes you just got to accept people as they are
@MrJoeMcBob@victorhuasi also, can we stop pretending that olivia is still an “up and coming new artist”? like the girl debuted half a decade ago, she is established atp. Same thing with people acting like billie eilish was a debutant when she released hmhas… like she had an 8 years career
the only people that’s gonna be offended is morons who think it’s the mother that “fails” to give the desired sex of the offspring when it’s totally on the father
She needs to understand that her career was declining way before the allegations. Cuz I Love You was her breakthrough with multiple hits. The album after had About Damn Time and that’s it… like the decline was already there
@ohgodiluvny Her problem is that she treats musical styles as costumes and doesn’t embrace each new one she approaches, instead she wears them and then discards them with contempt the moment she has to move on, which makes it hard for people to care
@fictionalangst i mean when you explicitly state that there is inspiration from a certain song and then the songs have more than just some yelly vocals in common… yeah, that’s when you need to give credit
@travelingflying that is not a historical figuret tho… and if you had read the translation of the Iliad, which I suspect you did not because you are illiterate, you’d know that Helen hasn’t been really described physically.
@jkoorry 22 songs in a concert is fine, if said concert’s highest value ticket doesn’t cost more than 400$, otherwise get your ass up and put together a decent set list
