Le società non hanno effettuato controlli per garantire la genuinità delle recensioni pubblicate, anche quando sono indicate come verificate. Inoltre i servizi di raccolta recensioni consentono alle imprese di selezionare i consumatori ai quali inviare l’invito a recensire.

L’#Antitrust ha anche accertato che Trustpilot non rende accessibili adeguatamente informazioni rilevanti su funzionamento piattaforma, utilizzo di servizi a pagamento da parte delle imprese e altri elementi utili per i consumatori.
