Former CM #Mairembam Koireng's home in #Moirang, #Manipur, was attacked with a rocket by #Kukizoterrorists, just 2 km from the #INA Museum. Mairembam Koireng, an important figure in #India's fight for freedom, took part in the Quit India Movement of 1942, led by #Mahatma Gandhi. He was even arrested for his role, showing his dedication to India's independence. #Moirang, where the INA first raised the #Indian flag in 1944, is a place of great historical importance of the Nation. The highest tri color Indian flag is in Moirang. Yet, again in today’s attack by the #kukizoterrorists an elderly #Meitei man, RK Rabei was killed while he was performing a ritual. How can India, the nation that claims to be the 4th strongest in defense allow such an attack in such historically significant places of India #SaveManipur #ManipurDroneAttack @NBirenSingh@AmitShah
The Coordinating Committee on #Manipur Integrity has demanded immediate action against those who carried out a #drone attack on #Meitei villagers on Sunday. The #COCOMI said the "armed immigrant #Kuki groups" used an #ambulance to infiltrate #Meetei villages under the guise of essential emergency services, leading to the killing of a 31-years-old mother and the injuring of her daughter and nine other village volunteers in #Koutruk, #ImphalWest district Read more | https://t.co/nwa4EulUuN
Any native Meiteilon speaker recognises this fake edit “kuki ngonda tainase” 🤡 I hate to be a grammar nazi but “ngonda” is only used in Meiteilon when referring to “ng” = “you”, “ei” = “me” & “ma” = “you” in the third person pronoun. “ngonda” is never used before a common noun!
For 16 months, Manipur has been burning and India remains silent. Meitei civilians are now being killed by drone bombs, a tactic reminiscent of world war aerial attacks.
Yet, our Prime Minister @narendramodi@PMOIndia , Home Minister @AmitShah@HMOIndia and Defense Minister @rajnathsingh have not uttered a word AGAIN, continuing with their day-to-day business. We are pleading for our leaders to fulfil their moral, legal, and constitutional duties to protect us and the country.
What should we as Meitei citizens make of this ‘loud’ silence? @manipur_cmo@NBirenSingh
What's the point of boasting about India being the 4th largest military power if you can't control a conflict within your own borders? ‘Honorable’ HM and security advisor Kuldiep Singh @kuldiep86 have confirmed foreign involvement, so why delay action? Are the Meiteis being used as guinea pigs in some deep-state strategy? #SaveManipur #Manipurisburning
It is deeply concerning to witness the never-ending violence, increasing deaths, and displacement of people. Urgent action is needed to address the root causes of Manipur crisis.

The influx of thousands of immigrants from Myanmar, Bangladesh, and mainland India poses a serious threat to the indigenous Meitei people, who inhabit less than 9% of Manipur's total land area. #ST4Meitei#TribalAffairsIn#ManipurFightsback@TribalAffairsIn
