@EoinKeane101 Did you see the tweet about the young lad getting kicked out of the bar for wearing a Jeffrey Dahmer costume. Turns out he was just in his normal clothes and eyewear. Lol.
@ghayes69@Independent_ie 2. 1.1km away. I'll never be without my car. I'll need it for visiting family, emergency etc. The more cycle lanes there are, the less traffic for you.
@ghayes69@Independent_ie 1.I get what you are saying but honestly I know cycling isn't for everyone. All newspaper articles nowadays tend to rise people. So it's anti car or anti cyclist. I just want to be able to cycle my kids to school without a car close passing me. There is no footpath. The school is
@RoseB4444 @PaulWalsh3@Independent_ie OK. Seriously. We all pay for the roads under general taxation. Motor tax is for emissions of your car. I'm not trying to be smart. But there is no such thing as road tax.
@ghayes69@Independent_ie No one has paid roadtax since 1977 I think. What we pay is motor tax. Also I do have insurance. I have bike insurance with Bikmo.
You are correct. I don't pay excise duty on my bike. I do on my car. Nearly everyone who cycles has a car too
@louisem90279614@ConorSheehan93@LimerickCouncil 2.road for my clinic appointments either because of all the cars double parked on the pavements on the Bellefield Gardens road near the maternity. There were times it was so bad you couldnt even swing into the clinic car park entrance. It was all blocked up
@louisem90279614@ConorSheehan93@LimerickCouncil 1.I was coming from the corbally side. I'm not trying to be smart honestly. I could never use that road because its only the clinic entrance that's on the bellefield Gardens side. And I always needed to head to reception and be brought up to delivery. Also I could never use that
@louisem90279614@ConorSheehan93@LimerickCouncil I have had 3 babies in the maternity. Never once used that road. Time was of the essence for one of my labours, and we stuck to the main roads and not a small residential road.
