Spider-Man is the perfect symbol of what happened to the modern Hollywood movie heroes.
Heroes used to be strong, courageous, noble men who carried enormous burdens without constantly whining about them.
Heroes were men you wanted to become.
Now Hollywood gives us nervous, insecure boys who stumble through every serious moment with a sarcastic joke. They cannot be too masculine, too confident, or too heroic. Even when they save the world, they have to look confused and apologize for taking up space.
SAD!
But this is about more than movies.
The stories a culture tells reveal what it values and modern culture no longer knows what strength, courage, sacrifice, or purpose look like.
That is exactly what we explore in Profit & Purpose: how to build a meaningful life, explore the creator economy, and hold on to the values that make both worth pursuing.

They look at him with no pity , then immediately shift the conversation toward explaining, excusing, or defending the woman. His grief, trauma, and loss become an afterthought.

She also had a husband working from home, a nanny, and grandparents helping with the children. Her youngest child was eight months old.
So the narrative that this was simply an overwhelmed mother with no support doesn’t accurately describe the circumstances presented in court.
