Surely the fact that pollution dropped dramatically during covid whilst farming carried on and cows carried on ‘producing methane’ is evidence that cows are not the problem
The Greens Party’s farming policy isn’t “support farmers”, it’s control and shrink farming.
Ban productive farming. Cap stocking densities. Abolish vital pesticides. 30% of land taken out of production.
That means less food, higher costs, more imports.
British farmers aren’t cruel and reckless. They’re not - and they’re feeding the country.

Hounds descend on Downing Street ahead of an expected consultation on banning trail hunting
One attendee says that they are: “Bringing a slice of the countryside to the Prime Minister directly”
All evidence we have points toward the public being strongly in favour of outlawing fox hunting
Hunting wild animals is not something the average Brit considers to be part of British identity, nor part of their culture
Supporters of The Hunts are in a very, very small minority
The socialist ratchet tightens again - this time with huge new bureaucracies dressed up as ‘Animal Welfare’. In reality the state imposing huge new costs and red tape - that will drive up the cost of food, the cost of living and reduce our freedoms.
This is how socialism is introduced. Not with a ban. Not with a vote. With taxes, taskforces, “calls for evidence” and acres of paperwork written by people who think a labrador is a type of cheese.
Dog ownership first. Gamebirds next. Then shooting, fishing and horse racing.
It’s the thin end of the wedge, driven by mindless bureaucracy and zero understanding of rural Britain. And everyone outside the M25 can see exactly where this is heading.
DOG OWNERS:
Taskforce including “education and communication, training (for both dogs and their owners)” Good luck with ZuZu (our black lab 🐾)
Explainer: The state knows how to look after your dog better than you and will be popping round with a checklist
SHOOTING:
“improve our understanding of the welfare issues on how gamebirds are reared in the gamebird sector through issuing a call for evidence”
Explainer: Following other detrimental measures (deep peat definition, game bird releases, consultation on banning shotguns being kept at home) - we’re going to ban shooting by the back door.
FISHING:
“introduce humane slaughter requirements for farmed fish into legislation, subject to consultation”
Explainer: God knows how, but fish farms will have to pre-stun fish before killing them. Why only farmed fish, you make ask? Mission creep will mean that many commercial fisheries, including in open waters will be made unviable.
ANIMAL FARMS (but not slaughter)
“continue exploring how improved food labelling, including method-of-production labelling, could improve animal welfare”
Explainer: Animal welfare matters for production but not slaughter. Halal can continue unquestioned.
EU RULES:
“continue to monitor progress of the EU proposal for a new welfare in transport regulation, and engage with industry to gather evidence of its anticipated impacts across the UK, including how these interact with a future Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Agreement between the UK and the EU”
Explainer: An SPS agreement will mean that we have to implement EU directives for animal and plant regulation and any changes to them. Goodbye competitive-edges such as gene-editing.
The people who make up the hunt are farmers, and all sorts who work in rural communities. This demented take shows just how out of touch urban elites are with country life and traditions.
We’ve seen massive crowds being reported at festive hunt meets all across the country, with people standing together in defiance of the government’s continued attacks on the countryside and rural way of life⬇️💪
BIG NEWS 🚨🚨
