BREAKING: UAE Armed Forces says we faced 137 rockets and 209 Iranian drones since attack started.

Out 137, 132 of them destroyed, while 5 fell in sea. 209 drones were detected, 195 intercepted, 14 fell within the country's territories and waters, causing some collateral damage.

The usual coalition is scrambling:

Pakistani Leftists and Islamists (Ikhwanists and Khomeinists) are trying to whip up outrage after Islamabad accepted Trump’s invitation to join the Gaza peace board

Their script is predictable: 'neocolonialism,' 'occupation,' no Palestinian agency, Trump can’t be trusted.

What’s missing is any alternative plan, any explanation for why many Palestinians back the plan, any answer for why senior Gaza professionals and academics are part of it.

Beyond recycled post-colonial slogans, critics offer nothing: no roadmap for Gaza, no governance vision, no exit from permanent war. Just veto power over every idea that doesn’t keep the conflict alive.

Opposing peace is easy. Owning responsibility for Gaza’s future is harder.

President Trump is doing great so far on Gaza, and Pakistani leaders are right in working with the US, Gazans, Palestinians, Israel, and Arab states for permanent peace in the enclave.

Today’s Gaming for Peace session with Air Cdre Khalid Banuri @khalidbanuri was a masterclass in using fiction as a tool for serious scenario building. Drawing on decades of operational and strategic experience, he challenged the cohort to think beyond the constraints of history, to imagine alternate realities, and to test assumptions about how states and leaders might act under unprecedented circumstances. The discussion reminded us that fiction is not an escape from reality, it is a rehearsal space for it. A big thank you to our cohort for an engaging Q&A, for pushing the conversation with sharp, thoughtful questions, and for embracing the challenge of thinking creatively about security in a way that is rigorous, imaginative, and policy-relevant.
