Sam Burns went to a Houston-area Raising Cane's on Tuesday and worked a "shift."
Not sure what I would do if I strolled up to Cane's and a pro golfer was there working
Many congratulations to Bryson DeChambeau on a magnificent and thrilling victory here in South Africa! What a spectacle for the game of golf. To watch two of the world’s finest competitors going head-to-head in a playoff is exactly the kind of drama that lifts our sport and captivates fans at the course and around the globe. But I must say, it fills my heart with tremendous pride to see South Africa hosting such a world-class event. This is a nation with a deep love for the game, a country that has produced champions, and a place where the spirit of golf runs strong. To showcase our beautiful land, our passionate supporters, and our rich golfing heritage on the world stage is something truly special. I was also delighted to see the Southern Guards perform so admirably, coming so close to securing the team title. They represented themselves, and South Africa, with great distinction. Just as the Nedbank Golf Challenge does, I have no doubt this event will also help inspire the next generation of young South Africans to pick up a club and dream big. GP
The Cleeks are pushing their chips to the center. How will this affect the rest of the transfer window? Who will be the @MajesticksGC third (and fourth?) Captain? 🍿
Many happy returns to GP. With his worldwide success, longevity, and role as the game’s ambassador I don’t think The Black Knight is top 3 all time, he’s the GOAT 🐐 @garyplayer
🚨⛳️🎉 #HAPPY BIRTHDAY: 9-time major champion, Gary Player turns 90 today. Gary has recently said he’s one of the top 3 players of all-time, alongside Tiger & Jack.
🚨🤫🇺🇸 #EMBARASSING — In an exclusive with @bunkeredgolf, Patrick Reed SLAMMED U.S. fans for their behaviour at the Ryder Cup.
“The way I heard the fans acted in New York was uncalled for. It's embarrassing as an American. I mean, you don't do that. You don't act the way you did, say the things you say….
“Stuff like that that needs to be looked at, needs to be checked. It's supposed to be a gentleman's game and you go out there and some of the things that people say, it's just appalling.”
Reed added that he “would have been a huge asset to the team” had he been selected and said he’s currently working on a contract extension with LIV Golf.
➡️ Is Reed right?
Despicable that the 4ces stalwart’s family faces abuse from such low lifes.
We Euros are lucky he wasn’t providing some much needed leadership in the USA team room #livgolf
Patrick Reed has faced a lot of negative press over the years and he says even his kids have had to deal with bullying because of it. He also says he was disappointed to miss out on the Ryder Cup and that he could have been a huge asset to the US team:
“The kind of person I am on and off the golf course hasn't been portrayed very well in the media throughout my career, but it's almost impossible to control others. All you can do is control yourself, so I feel like I'm doing everything the right way, living the right way.
“Everyone I play pro-ams with and everybody I meet, they're all like: 'Man, you're nothing like what the media portrays you as'. So as long as that just continues happening, at some point it will turn around.
“My kids have been bullied at school so that's where it's uncalled for. When they all of a sudden look at your children and say stuff about them, it's like you don't even know my children and why would you even bring kids into it?
“It's not fun having to deal with some of the stuff that we deal with. The great thing is I have an amazing support team at home and an amazing family."
He went on to talk about how disappointing it was to miss out on a Ryder Cup spot:
“You're always disappointed when you don't make those teams, it means so much to me to represent my country. It definitely hurts and I definitely feel like I could have been a huge asset to the team, especially at a place I won before.
“That was his decision, but I feel like he tried to put out the best team he could.
“Through the first two days I don't really care what team he threw out there, I don't think we'd be able to hang with the way the Euros played. From top to bottom on Friday and Saturday it was just unreal.”
So, would Reed like to be on the side at Adare Manor in 2027?
“That would be great, yeah. I love playing, especially on foreign soil. It's always kind of good to go over there and be the guy that's a thorn in their side.”

Colin Cowherd on LIV Golf:
"It's just got a great energy. It's a younger audience...I just think golf needed to tweak itself. I think it needed a new energy. It needed to get younger. And I think that's what LIV provides."
