Why bother performing all season when you can win the Ballon d'Or in one month after playing well against Algeria, Austria, Jordan, Cape Verde, Egypt and Switzerland?
What is this utter nonsense man? 😭
As we approach the last ten nights of Ramadan when Laylatul Qadr may occur, a night better than a thousand months mentioned in the Qur’an it’s important to reflect on how we make du’a.
Many people search for pre-written supplications or simply repeat what others say. While the beautiful du’as found in the Qur’an and those taught by Prophet Muhammad PBUH are powerful and should certainly be used, scholars have always emphasized that the most powerful du’a is the one that comes sincerely from the heart.
Du’a is not just a script it is a personal conversation between the servant and Allah.
A simple way to make your du’a more meaningful is to remember four things:
• Thank Allah for the blessings in your life.
• Seek forgiveness for your mistakes and regrets.
• Ask for your hopes and needs with sincerity.
• Share your fears and worries with humility.
When your du’a contains gratitude, repentance, hope, and fear, it becomes heartfelt and sincere and that is when you truly begin communicating with your Lord.
