He has made a supreme sacrifice. It was part of his duty&what he was trained for. I feel sad for his wife as they just got married 3-4 months back. He was meant to save lives: Rtd Brig Chandrakant Sood, father of late Major Anuj Sood, who lost his life in an encounter in Handwara
The controversy surrounding the Adani vs Vedanta bid for Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL) explained:
You’re in distress and need urgent money, so you sell an asset. One person offers ₹10 lakh but will pay in installments over six months; another offers ₹9 lakh and pays immediately. Naturally, you pick the latter.
That’s essentially what happened in the bidding for JAL. Vedanta offered a higher bid, but lenders chose Adani Group because it brought stronger upfront cash, faster payouts, and higher real recovery (NPV). Nearly 94% of the lenders approved Adani's bid. That's called consensus among people whose money is actually at stake.
But of course, the extortion-jeevis, hoping to grab a few crumbs, along with their handlers in the opposition, began crying “crony capitalism” over Vedanta’s higher headline bid, as if that’s all that matters. Execution risk, timelines, and feasibility are clearly too boring for them to understand.
Everyone shouting “higher bid” clearly skipped how insolvency actually works. JAL wasn’t being auctioned on OLX where you just pick the highest number and call it a day. It was resolved under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), where lenders choose what actually gets them money back, not what merely sounds bigger on paper. IBC doesn’t reward the loudest bid; it rewards the most reliable one.
Courts didn’t stop the process. The law backed the lenders’ decision. Even Jaiprakash Gaur called it fair. At this point, calling it “crony capitalism” is less analysis and more coping.
In Noida, four Amity University students climbed over a 10–12 ft barricade after their final exam to drink and swim in a water-filled pit at an abandoned construction site. During this, one student drowned and died.
It is deeply unfortunate, but it also raises an uncomfortable question. In such cases, we are quick to hold the system accountable, but where do individual responsibility and parental guidance fit in?
These were adults. The site had already been restricted with barricading. Even without that, an abandoned, waterlogged construction area is clearly unsafe to anyone exercising basic judgment. So what necessitated crossing the barricade and entering that space?
There is a recurring pattern in such incidents, accountability is placed almost entirely on authorities, while personal responsibility is rarely examined. When a location is explicitly marked as dangerous and access is restricted, choosing to enter it is, in itself, a conscious risk.
This is not to absolve the system of its duties, but to acknowledge that safety is also a shared responsibility. Rules are not merely symbolic; they exist to prevent precisely such tragedies.
No dignity in life, no dignity in death.
This small clip is from Khabargaon’s YouTube channel, a disturbing, brutally honest documentary that confronts institutional apathy, titled: Dead Body Finder.
In Punjab, if your loved one is missing and you fear they are dead, relatives almost always visit the Khanauri Barrage, where the Bhakra Canal enters Haryana and Rajasthan. Khanauri has quietly become a convergence point for the dead. Every month, 30–45 bodies surface here, victims of crime, accidents, or suicide.
Almost every day, families from Punjab gather here, scanning the water with grim expectation. They are not waiting for rescue, but for confirmation. A body. Any body. Hoping, and at the same time fearing, that it might be their missing relative.
The Punjab govt has effectively ceded this space. There is no structured recovery mechanism, no adequate preservation system, no urgency. Even basic court-directed interventions remain unimplemented. Worse, the police allow bodies to drift past jurisdictional boundaries into Haryana and Rajasthan to avoid documentation and investigation.
In this vacuum, one individual, Ashu Malik, has, for years, been performing this grim task, repeatedly entering hazardous waters to retrieve the dead to help out the desperate relatives get the closure. He has retrieved 10,000 bodies in the last 32 years and documented them.
Please do watch it, but only if you can handle the graphic, deeply unsettling reality it presents.
Prahar LMG induction is a real battlefield upgrade higher rate of fire, better accuracy, and reliable performance where it matters most. With Adani Defence & Aerospace delivering at scale, this directly strengthens squad-level dominance.
The impact of this Adani MoU is simple from an operator’s lens- it shifts focus from induction to what keeps aircraft flying year after year.
Manufacturing, MRO, training & lifecycle support matter more than anything.
That’s where real capability lives.
The most surprising outcome of the Bihar election is the complete wipeout of Jan Suraaj.
Prashant Kishor spent years on the ground and raised the right issues, yet his party couldn’t secure even a single seat. He must be disappointed, but at least he isn’t blaming the EVMs or inventing election-fraud theories. That level of maturity is still missing in two well-known “nepokids”, who can’t seem to process a clear, overwhelming defeat without slipping into denial.
A healthy democracy needs a serious opposition. Ideally, Bihar should move beyond RJD’s outdated politics, and if Prashant Kishor avoids going down the Arvind Kejriwal path, perhaps he can eventually occupy that space.

The BJP’s back-to-back election wins in Haryana, Maharashtra, Delhi and now Bihar have no value or impact.
The real election result is still the New York mayor elections which Zohran Mamdani won. Zohran's win is a huge blow to Modi and the Hindutva politics that he represents. Zohran's win reveals what terrifies Modi the most: young, progressive, interfaith, anti-establishment and unafraid.
Zohran's win also proves that vote chori is a real issue. Between Haryana, Maharashtra, Delhi, Bihar and New York, New York was the only one where Gyanesh Kumar was not the election in-charge, and that's the only place BJP didn't win, proving that BJP can win only through vote chori through Gyanesh Kumar.
Status on Arattai: we decided to go with option 2 which is mandatory system wide end to end encryption (starting with one on one messages and groups will follow later).
We had to do some redesign around it and we wanted extensive testing because it is a drastic change. It is now being tested by about 6,000 people in the company. We identified some issues and have fixed them. We are doing one more round of testing on a new build that has fixed the issues identified.
If all goes well, we plan to deploy in a few days. It will be a forced upgrade on all because it is a drastic change.
Meanwhile you can upgrade the app and while it already has the code for mandatory e2e encryption, it won't work until we enable it and we will do it after another round of testing. The app is also faster and sleeker now which you can experience.
Thank you for your patience 🙏
She is Babita Tyagi, a lekhpal in Ghaziabad.
A farmer approached her office for partition of joint land holdings. Her staff told him the official route would drag for months, better to meet madam after office hours.
He did. Babita ji asked for ₹5,000; the farmer gave ₹2,000 and promised the rest later. But he secretly recorded her and made the video viral. Babita ji is now suspended. Batao yaar, kaise be-raham log hain. Bas ₹5,000 ke liye ek sarkari adhikari ki imaandar naukri par ghooskhori ka dhabba lagwa diya.
Great read! #DualUseAuto concept is a smart way to meet rising urban delivery needs. They fill the 30–350 kg delivery gap, boost driver income, cut MSME costs, and reduce emissions. With basic policy tweaks, they can be ideal low-cost last-mile carriers.

Mother begged him to surrender. JeM terrorist Amir Wani refused, opened fire on the army, and found out.
What a pathetic waste of life! Instead of being a decent son and working to give his parents a better life, chose to die like a stray, for what? Nothing but delusion.
This guy throws around a few military terms he barely understands, hoping they make sense.
He acted surprised when she said air-to-surface missiles, as if they don’t exist.
He couldn’t intercept BrahMos, a supersonic missile, yet falsely claim they can stop hypersonic ones.
Notice how the chiefs sit in attention with the President, unlike with the PM, where they are mostly at ease, despite PM being the most powerful person in India.
That’s because the Armed Forces technically report to the President, she is their highest command authority.
India, my beloved country, is far too strong to be brought down by external threats. God forbid If it ever falls, it will be because of decay from within, not enemies from outside.
