i think this is why i yearn for those awards so much. i so desperately want them to have a certificate, a silver platter, a shining medal, something tangible that stands as proof of all the heart and effort they’ve poured into their craft.

i want people to understand why, at the end of the day, the one identity they will always choose to introduce themselves with is simply “actors”. why months after the show has ended, they still hold fengchen so close to their hearts, with such deep appreciation and adoration, in an industry that churns out new series with its newcomers every single day. why there is so much pain in their voices whenever they talk about a film project and why they still carry the regret of what they wish they could have done differently to make the drama better.

i want ppl to understand all of this and give themselves a chance to get to know two truly incredible people. two people who will, sooner or later, win you over with their dedication to what they do. cause even when they can’t fully put into words just how hard they’ve tried, the truth is that they have given this everything they have.
