@JakeSherman Has anyone tried to track down the date of this newspaper? It’s a Texas A&M baseball player in a column maybe written by Brooks Holton of the Courier-Journal. But, Holton normally writes about UL basketball and Alexis Cubit writes about UL baseball 🤔
To be honest, the Maryland Constitution requires that each “legislative district” consist of adjoining territory, be compact in form, and of substantially equal population, with “due regard” given to natural boundaries and the boundaries of political subdivisions. A legislative district, not congressional district. The amendment, which will go to the people for a vote, just clarifies the already existing language.
Every nine-seconds in America a woman is abused or assaulted. Platner spent 11-minutes in a social media post blaming EVERYONE but himself for at least SEVEN accusations from women of abuse and troubling behavior. Win or lose, we can't have a Democratic Party that points the finger at Trump, but doesn't also point the finger at one of our own. Actions matter. Morals matter. Survivors matter.
The response to today's mass casualty bus crash in Pikesville is a testament to Maryland's emergency system. Fifteen ambulances from multiple counties, the Shock Trauma Go Team, and a state police medevac responded to more than 30 injured. Thank you to our first responders. Wishing everyone hurt a full recovery.
I have spoken with Graham Platner about the best path forward for Maine. In light of these very serious allegations, I have recommended that he step aside.
This drought may cause a ton of brush fires tonight with all the homemade firework shows. Talk to your friend or partner about holding off until the rains come.
Who put the squeeze on State Senate President Bill Ferguson?
He suddenly reverses his position in redistricting after holding the line against his party, against the governor?
Or was it because he didn’t make Gov. Moore’s endorsement list the first round?
What’s going on?
To him it was never about “Bill versus Bobby,” but the people versus corruption, corporations and establishment politicians.
Bobby LaPin lost the race. He’s not ready to leave the fight. https://t.co/PHW9WuI4HQ
BGE made half a BILLION in profit last year. Now they want the state to guarantee them even MORE.
Working people can’t afford anymore bills.
When the General Assembly meets this month, they must FREEZE THE RATES! #Baltimore#Maryland#BGE
Our last speech of the race. Given June 23rd. We may not have gotten elected, but we sure as hell won. We took on the establishment and the corporate money and made them sweat. Cheers to the start of the next chapter and thank you all for continuing on this journey. #baltimore
