@1881StanleyFC @chunky1973 @_toosb I was there for both and remember them well. Despite both being well over 40 yrs ago.

[MackemPete @makempete]

@_toosb Surely Blackburn Rovers had the biggest claim. After all it was them who Swindon beat in the semis was it not.

[MackemPete @makempete]

@Raymond52479726 @1881StanleyFC @_toosb I was right behind the goal on the Leazers end. One of the best nights of my life. Probs only topped by Coventry and Sheff Utd in the playoffs. Cov away is in my top 5 games too.

[MackemPete @makempete]

@umay1s5 I see Kevin Keegan from years ago.

[MackemPete @makempete]

@chiamakaafc Raheem Stirling.

[MackemPete @makempete]

@pdillan1 It’s called being ironic. Football banter between two great sets of fans.

[MackemPete @makempete]

@___Nans Remind us all who was voted man of the match.
In case you didn’t see the game it was Arsenals goalkeeper.

[MackemPete @makempete]

@utdzora Robbie Keane. Now give us a hard one.

[MackemPete @makempete]

@henrywinter Look at the full picture Henry. If Konza didn’t have his arms over & around Ballard in the 1st place he wudnt have had anything to get hold of wud he. 6 of 1 half dozen of the other. I see you dont mention Rice grappling one of our players round in the same passage of play do you

[MackemPete @makempete]

@NivekFootball Go and f#ck yourself

[MackemPete @makempete]

@JimmyJelly88 @S_Scotty_78 Let’s just suppose we go all the way, will you be watching the final on tv ?

[MackemPete @makempete]

@pauljacques83 Given we are where we are now because Sheff Utd had a similar goal ruled out at Wembley, no complaints from me. Other than the time it took VAR to make their decision.

[MackemPete @makempete]

@MbarkCherguia Ernest Bognine
Don’t pull me up if his sir name is spelt wrong.

[MackemPete @makempete]

@Ramma_____ Cos one’s a goalkeeper and the other is a winger you fruit bat. And that’s being kind to you.

[MackemPete @makempete]

@henrywinter How can he stay in the centre circle for 15 mins. I’ve never known a game go that long without a free kick in either half of the pitch and the ref having to get his shaving foam out.
