After seeing enough people adding solder to their ENIG-plated SD2SP2s, I made an improved variant that doesn't just fall out.
So, if you prefer the simple SD2SP2, you can now get it with the same satisfying fit as the Pro+:

@charu002 The speed is on par with the M.2 Loader or an SD2SP2/SDGecko 2.0.
You can use it with Retro NAS using a USB Ethernet adapter + FSP, but you can not connect a USB hub and simultaneously use the ethernet and storage features.

The USB Dolphin is now available for pre-order!
If you're interested, you can get one here:

@Dponton93 They are back in stock now!

@creedof69 I already though about making a SP2 USB Dolphin with USB-C but I can't promise this is gonna happen.
It's likely not that easy to fit all the required components onto my current SDSP2 Pro+ design.

[makeo @makeo_dev]

@sweet_blu No it doesn't - it can only emulate one thing at a time.

[makeo @makeo_dev]

@ZXBlaziken It currently supports USB sticks/drives for file/game storage and USB Ethernet adapters for BBA emulation

Did you know you can now load #GameCube games over your network via #RetroNAS, using a homebrew USB device called #USBDolphin and a USB Ethernet device? Performance will vary, but this is still REALLY cool. Links and more info: https://t.co/TCckKBAJeJ

@ClarkSpinner @RetroRGB The Wii LAN adapter is supported but I would not recommend 100 Mbit adapters if you wanna do game streaming using FSP.

[makeo @makeo_dev]

I further improved the compatibility with different LAN adapters of the USB Dolphin.
Now you will be able to use the Wii LAN Adapter:

@fyredragon69 This would be cool, but the issue is that no game/homebrew looks for a keyboard attached to SP1 or Slot A/B.
For homebrew, it would not be that hard to add.
For games, it's theoretically fixable by patching the game, but not really sensible and unlikely to happen.

📢 I can finally show what's coming next - USB Dolphin - a USB 2.0 port for SP1 or Slot A/B.
Supports all kinds of USB storage devices, the SP1 variant even allows network game streaming (Swiss + RetroNAS/FSP) and more!

See all its features here:

@0bieone The speed is limited by the connection to the GC - performance is on par with an SD2SP2 2.0.
The port on the device is high-speed (USB 2), not full-speed.

📢 The design and production files for the solderless PicoLoader modules I'm selling are now open source:

📢 I added quite a few new toys to the store!
This includes USB Gecko's, PicoLoaders for the Panasonic Q and a variety of SD Adapters.
For US customers, prices include tariffs.

@DatZigZagKid You can get the solder flex cheaply directly from JLCPCB (ordering guide is on the PicoLoader github).
Alternatively, you can get full solderless or soldered kits from my store.

Is this even a GameCube anymore?
