Covid was like a natural experiment of "what happens if you derail someone's life at age X." We had toddlers delayed on language skills, middle schoolers not learning how to have normal friendships, 20-somethings never getting those early office jobs where you learn stuff.
i think many are missing that the backrooms are supposed to be a representation of the warped way children perceive the world. normal things to us is scary for them. people were saying how they were scared of the spongebob credits when they were kids, its a huge part of it
My favorite part about the backrooms is that they didn’t do the “when the other characters got there the door disappears, so now the main character looks crazy” trope, because I hate that trope
@Vfrdk568639 they still are upset that the internet has exposed the dark parts that they spent so much time hiding from us to keep us naive of what they truly are. but now we know and there’s no coming back
