Lord knows I don’t need a rainy/gloomy day today. My emotions can’t take it. So I have to make a plan to stay stable and maintain my joy.

[The Melanin Makeup Coach @makeupbyzii]

Here are some things that I will try today:
1. Keep the lights on and keep my home bright.
2. No slow songs or slow music today.
3. In all things, give thanks. I’m probably gonna try thank the Lord for everything I touch today.

You are someone's favorite person. The way you laugh. Your kind heart. Your sense of humor. The way you make problems melt away with a loving hug or a shoulder to cry on. And it's tough to remember that sometimes. But it is true. You are appreciated for simply being you.

This Nashville season of #MAFS is THE most boring season ever! 😩 I’m so glad @KevOnStage and @MrsKevOnStage chose not review it this time. Those Bald and Beautiful episodes would’ve been 5 min. Chileeeee 😴

It’s been 55 years since my father was here with me. The sacrifice he made with his life has forever changed me, but moreover it’s created a global community of people empowered with the vision of the #BelovedCommunity.

[The Spicy Teacher @msangieb31]

Angel Reese & Caitlin Clark are a real time example of what happens in our schools & classrooms. It's an example of the way yt children are seen, allowed to show up in their full humanity, unapologetically them. Yet Black children are not seen, their spirits are murdered.

The real issue between SWV and Xscape is the disrespect. Xscape doesn’t hold SWV at the same regard. Followers don’t equate to money. Both groups are legends in their own right. But the ego kills the best collabs.

[The Melanin Makeup Coach @makeupbyzii]

Watching master chef when Michael’s oven wasn’t on for the gas station challenge. These judges are brutal and have absolutely no tact. Their feedback was dramatic and mean. Ugh…he’s aware that the dish wasn’t good.
