The Holy Spirit communicates to us on three major levels and most of us are only tuned to one.
The first level is scripture, the written Word that establishes the truth.
The second level is the small internal voice that requires silence to detect.
The third level is providential arrangement, where God speaks through circumstances, people and events aligned so precisely they cannot be coincidental.
FUN FACT; The ego rejects level two because it requires stillness, and ignores level three because it requires trust.
Most people stay stuck on level one, because they treat the Bible as information instead of a living transmission.
SO,if you have ever said "God never speaks to me," the problem is not the transmission. It is you the receiver.
🌸I thank God for the relationship I have with Him now, because what I spent years looking for in men, I found in Him. And there’s a different kind of peace that comes when you stop expecting people to fill a place in your heart that was always meant for God. 💛✨
In Hosea 3:1-2 Hosea was told to marry a woman who would betray him, and then buy her back.
It’s the most scandalous picture of grace in the Bible.
God tells the prophet Hosea: marry Gomer, knowing she’ll be unfaithful. She is.
She runs to other lovers, ends up enslaved, used up, worthless on the auction block.
And God says: “Go again, love a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress.”
So Hosea BUYS his own wife back, for fifteen shekels of silver and some barley. He pays to redeem the wife who cheated on him.
I used to think that was the most humiliating command in Scripture. Then I realized I was the wife.
I gave my heart to everything but God. I sold myself cheap. I made myself worthless.
And God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth the price.”
He said, “Name it. I’m buying her back.”
“God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans
5:8. The cross was God at the auction block, paying for the unfaithful while they were still
Hosea showed me a God who pays full price for the unworthy.
Praise the Lord!!!
The apostle Peter said that if you want to enjoy life and see good things, say nothing evil or hurtful. How much higher would we go if we didn’t have to have the last word when we disagree, not have to be right, but just quietly keep honoring God, being respectful, staying on the high road?
There's a conversation in the Bible where Satan admits there are some people he can't touch... and almost nobody talks about it.
Most people read the book of Job and focus on everything he lost. But I was reading Job 1, and God showed me something that completely shifted my perspective. Before Job's wealth, before the attacks, before the tragedy... God first described Job's character. The Bible says Job was "blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil." That wasn't just an introduction it was Heaven's testimony about him before anything else happened.
Then the scene changes from earth to heaven. The angels present themselves before the Lord, and Satan shows up. God asks him, "Where have you come from?" Satan replies that he has been roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth. In other words, he was searching. Then God asks Satan one question: "Have you considered my servant Job?" What Satan says next stopped me in my tracks. Satan replies, "Have You not put a hedge around him, his household, and everything he has?" Think about that. The enemy himself acknowledged that there was a boundary around Job that he could not cross without God's permission.
What qualified Job for that kind of covering? It wasn't his money. It wasn't his influence. It wasn't his success. The Bible says he was blameless, upright, feared God, and shunned evil. Before Heaven celebrated his blessings, Heaven testified about his character.
I wonder how many of us spend more time praying for God's protection than pursuing the kind of life that attracts His covering. Job reminds us that reverence for God, integrity, and obedience matter. Character isn't just about reputation it has spiritual consequences.
Theirs this story of Elijah I keep pondering over, There was a time when Elijah became so exhausted emotionally, mentally and spiritually that he ran into the wilderness and asked God to let him die. This was the same Elijah who had once performed miracles and demonstrated great faith publicly. But after intense pressure, fear, isolation, stress, and discouragement, he reached a breaking point internally. Instead of condemning him, God allowed Elijah to rest. An angel brought him food and water. He slept. He recovered strength gradually.
And later, when Elijah expected God to appear through dramatic wind, earthquakes, and fire, God instead spoke through a still small voice. That story is powerful because even strong people can become deeply exhausted sometimes. And sometimes healing, clarity, direction, peace, and restoration do not arrive through noise or chaos… but through quiet moments with God. 🙏
