Started at $1200 in June, now $1000. Garage not included. Contacted REA and advised owner not willing to negotiate.

Look off your back deck into the separately leased flat
@Potstirrer111 Plenty of stagnation on the Gold Coast in the $1100 - $1300 range. Glad to see it.
Many listings renting the house, but "garage not included", or downstairs rented as a granny flat, you get upstairs for $1000/wk. What a time to be alive.
I told you all this moment was coming
Whereas your house used to make more money for you than your full time job, and you thought this made you a genius
It now loses more money for you than you make from your full time job
Pre tax too !!
I need to tell you something that makes me angrier than anything else in medicine.
60 randomized controlled trials. 323,950 patients. Every cholesterol-lowering drug ever made. Statins. PCSK9 inhibitors. Ezetimibe.
One question. Did lowering LDL cholesterol make people live longer?
Look at the chart. Every dot is a trial. The red line is zero benefit. If these drugs saved lives, the dots would be above the line.
They are not. They reduced LDL by up to 80%. Nobody was saved.
But that is not what makes me angry.
What makes me angry is that millions of people believe they are safe because their LDL is low. Their doctor says "your numbers look great." They go home and never think about it again.
Meanwhile the 12 things that actually cause heart disease are silently building inside them. Nobody is checking. Nobody is testing. Because a cholesterol number gave everyone a false sense of security.
That is not a failure of medicine. That is a fraud.
Ennezat et al. Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology. 2023.
Here’s a cautionary tale—and one reason so many patients have lost trust in conventional medicine. 🙈 (Read to the end)
👉 Them: “I’m the expert. Lower LDL is always better.”
👉 You (or me): Politely ask a direct question to explore the nuances or the underlying evidence.
👉 Response: A personal attack.
That’s not expertise. It’s defensiveness and a transparent signal that the person’s claim exceeds the depth of their understanding.
👉 Them: The same “experts” complain that patients are turning to “influencers” instead of trusting experts.
🚨The worst part?
There are countless brilliant, thoughtful clinicians who genuinely deserve the public’s trust. They acknowledge uncertainty, engage with evidence, and answer difficult questions with curiosity rather than contempt.
Unfortunately, many of those people aren’t the loudest voices among the self-appointed “experts.”
Instead, trust in the medical profession is undermined by a vocal minority who mistake credentials for arguments and résumé lines for evidence.
Patients lose trust when sincere questions are met with arrogance instead of answers.
Trust me — I’ve been that patient

@BioavailableNd Is there a general reason Colostrum sends me into immune overload, energy crash/ PEM for days, but Lactoferrin (Lactoferrin Co) 300mg / 600mg daily seems to have no effect at all (12+ months use)?
Down 1.2% in a month in Sydney is a ~ 14% annualized loss
On a Sydney median house of $1.6m that’s an equity loss of $224k
That’s how it worked when prices were rising right ??
Firmly in the ‘losing more than you make from your full time job’ territory
This is exactly why the big investors are blowing up on social media with the tax changes.
They’re leveraged up to their tits, their holding cost is 730k a year and their IPs are now losing value.
So say there’s a 10% drop in prices Jack will lose close to 7 million and assuming his ip’s are 90% lvr he will be in negative equity

If you live in a country that sends poor people to jail for using drugs, but doesn't send rich people to jail for raping kids, you live in a shit hole country.
