Today is children’s day, but 46 innocent children learning in their classrooms in Ogbomosho, Oyo state were kidnapped by gunmen.

It’s been two painful weeks already and these children are still not home with their families, suffering out there in the cold and enduring fear and uncertainty that no child should ever know.

This is a National crisis and the government must use every resource necessary to bring these children home. Nothing else matters in this moment.

We owe our children a safer country.

I remember my first exposure to TV cameras. I was 7yrs old. It was a children’s show on @ntanetwork called Children’s Variety. I sat on a Jalopy and acted in a drama sketch. I remember the lights were blinding but mesmerizing. It was a live show but my dad would tape it and then when visitors came around, he would play the cassette to show off his son.

Today I’m glad to announce that our show, Temi and the Labalaba band, will start airing on NTA network every Saturday from 9:30am starting next Saturday. This means over 80million people will have access to this amazing show. More importantly, we are gradually bringing back the beloved children’s belt that seemed to have disappeared from TV.
