Fan art of Project: Phantasia by @SpiralFlip, basically a fantasy music compilation. Just had fun with brush strokes while listening to it, very cool collaboration! I personally liked track #2 and #11 a lot.
Awesome design by @Ve_Xillum, I love her.
@TafferKing451 i loved doom3, I was a kid so i never "rip and tear"ed on the first two games, instead i was terrified, sometimes just hiding in the corner of icon of sin or somewhere.
Doom3 gave me the same feeling, but that time they were actually trying to evoke it, it was awesome.

I studied how CRT works and tried to fake it with a shader on godot, vibecoded a lot of and it's a mess but it works!
I know I can optimize it manually so will try it to fully hand code it now.
You can get crazy quality materials on more budget guitars nowadays, to think we'd see roasted maple in the gio line, I'm impressed.
Just an afternoon of work, care and polish and it'll feel incredible.
@millorke Agree! It might certainly be problematic if someone drives one of those without knowing what happens when a vehicle has no friction to stop it lol
In one of my stories there is levitation magic but since it's expensive to embeed things with magic most people rely on wheels while rich people travel in basically fantasy maglevs. 0 relevant for the plot but it's fun to think stuff like this.
@StrawberryShim Niceeee, I didnt know that. Do they struggle with lack of friction too? In my story if the driver is not skilled enough, the lack of friction of a hovering vehicle can be disastrous lol
Scientists have created tiny diving suits for cockroaches that allow them to survive underwater for hours
The "amphibious cyborg robots" could be used to assist with search and rescue missions in the future
The loss of idTech as one of the greatest proprietary game engines ever built should be mourned by this industry. Truly awful to hear that the brilliant people responsible for its creation and evolution have been let go.
Its always impressive how some artists can just transform their mistakes away like its not a biggie while every time I make a mistake I go through a life crisis, the 7 states of grief, feel like a traitor to analog artists, then begrudgingly transform/liquify it
Stupid, I know.
