岩波神保町ビルは今月末を最後に取り壊される予定です。合わせて駅から通じる、神保町ユーザーにはお馴染みの石垣がある出口も閉鎖されます。
ここも神保町のひとつの文化発信地だったと言えます。
ビル10階にある映画館、岩波ホールでは、ルキノ・ヴィスコンティ監督の「家族の肖像」などの名画が上映されたことが記憶に新しいです。
岩波神保町ビルは1967年築で、設計は芦原義信さん。
2022年には岩波ホールが閉館していました。

I taught behavioral economics for almost 15 years, first at Carnegie Mellon then UChicago. Every year I’d start the class with this example to illustrate how pure rationality fails in terms of predicting what people actually care about, particularly when it comes to social situations. We spent the rest of the class building a framework that would capture this.

It also illustrates the limits of trusting pure intelligence to get to outcomes we as humans care about. Von Neumann was one of the smartest people to ever walk the earth, but he had little understanding of what made people fulfilled or what they would be extremely upset by. He needed to be guided and sometimes overruled by “regular people”.

７月に翻訳が出たコトラーの「マーケティング6.0」はメタバースやAR/VR（原書は2023年刊行）、今年3月に原書が出たMarketing 7.0はAIと、先端技術の話題を少し遅れて追いかけているように見えるが、そうじゃないとGeminiがいうので、3.0あたりから一気に読んでみてもよいかなと。
